Contract page on the main site has been updated to reflect the Hunter Bishop contract details.

Contract for Nash is the same as Bishop, details are available on HW's Twitter page; I'll probably update the contract page sometime tomorrow (too much homework right now).

2nd post now shows the contract situation for next season with regards to the 50-contract limit and how many potentially available contracts exist. 26/50 contracts committed currently with 16 RFA's (and surely a few UFA's will be (re-)signed).

Didn't see this posted anywhere, but it looks like the cap will go up by about $900,000 next year. The panelists also talk about how that's the main reason the Habs haven't signed Plekanec yet, they want to know the final cap number first.
dlbalr
Dumont contract details now added on the site, as well as updates to Bishop/Nash's deals (it turns out they do have bonuses after all...)
dlbalr
Now with the season over, I can get back to looking at the contract stuff - Shawn Belle and Andre Benoit are now Group 6 free agents (or unrestricted). I've updated the contract scorecard (2nd post of this thread) to reflect this change.

During the Heritage Classic announcement today, Bettman suggested the cap would be going up by $2 million. That'd give the Habs a bit more flexibility...

That's gonna help.

Not that this should come as any shocker, but apparently Laraque's been told that the Habs will start the buyout process on his contract on June 15th (the first day possible). For those who don't know, his cap hit will be $500,000 in each of 2010-11 and 2011-12.

Eller and Schultz's contract details (including bonuses and AHL salaries) added to the contracts page on HW. I've also updated the contract scorecard (still 43 projected) in the 2nd post of this thread. I will hopefully soon get around to updating the first post which still shows a lot of last year's free agent stuff.

Schultz should have the 'Slide Rule' in effect on his contract, correct? So he's really a full 3 year deal, not 2 years remaining.

You're right, I haven't even looked at that element (it applies to Lefebvre as well). I'll get around to fixing that up as well at some point; thanks for reminding me, I may not have caught it otherwise since he's not a SR player this season.
dlbalr
I've now posted an article on the main page detailing the cap situation moving forward (updated with Pouliot's deal); the Habs have roughly $3 M to spend on UFA's.

http://www.habsworld.net/article.php?id=2091

Also, Hamrlik has not and will not be placed on unconditional waivers so he will not be bought out prior to next season. No cap relief coming from that juncture now.

Adjusted for him and Lefebvre. Adjustments as a result of signing bonuses being paid out but the contract sliding over:

Schultz: Cap hit from $875,000 to $845,833
Lefebvre: Cap hit from $535,000 to $522,778

Also note that Lefebvre is eligible for another slide next season if he goes back to the QMJHL.
