*Will update when I see lines for tonight.
^ Gametime decision as per Habs I/O

Wow, to be honest, not sure what the lines are going to look like tonight. The habs are 8-0-1 in their last 9 trips to Philly (According to TSN). I'm 2-0 when I make GDT so lets make it three!
Trizzak
No Moore?
Chris
No Subban or Moore? TSN said they were both playing tonight.

Hopefully they can at least get 1 point tonight and win tomorrow.

3 out of 4 would be nice
han_dyl
RDS and H I/O are reporting that both Markov and Georges will be gametime decisions. While TSN is saying Subban will be in the lineup.
bar
No they are sorry, I just copied the previous game and was gonna edit it, but you keeners replied before I was ready smile.gif

if both gorges and Markov are game time dec. then it means at least one of them will play hurt, cause with PK subban we only have 7 dmen

I'm sure they're alright. Subban might play if someone gets traded.

Lets hope so, but my non professional opinion would be not to play gorges, for his sake and his future' sake, play him Saturday at the earliest and dress all 7.

Price in the net tonight
JoeLassister
If we beat the Caps, we can beat anybody. Back to back against our closest rival is probably THE most important games of the season.

Cool...just wanted to make sure I was putting correct info up. I think this is the best decision, either this or the next game for Halak/Price split. If you give the next game to Halak give him a little lift going into the olympic break.

It's Price. Martin can't keep him out of the line up indefinitely. The young man has to play. I also think that Martin is reluctant to give two starts in two nights to Halak (you can bet the house that he will start the game in Mtl). He is the smallest goalie in the NHL and will probably start his fair share of the games in the Olympics. No need to wear him out against a tough team like the Flyers -- at least, not yet.

Price is in the goal; it's his duty to get the job done. Let's hope that the team will play strong defense in front of him.

As for Subban and Moore, I guess that both will be playing tonight. Gorges will be probably sit this one. Although I found the price a little high for Moore, I understand the logic behind this trade. Obviously, Martin did not like the defensive play of either Metropolit or Lapierre, particularly on the PK unit. When you think about it, Gomez and Plekanec are small players; they burn a lot of energy in one game. If they have play on PK, it doesn't help the team in the long run. Moore gives an option to Martin. I think the lineup is getting deeper with this trade.

With this up and down team, a loss is in the cards. Followed by another loss tomorrow, and then endless panic and loathing among Habs fans. happy.gif

I'm positive we'll lose tonight. happy.gif

Hope the Habs are up for this one... They've been no-shows for "important" games lately. I hope to see more of the game that they played in the 1st and 2nd against Washington. Hoping to see Subban out there!

GO HABS GO!!!!

Sure, he will be skating elegantly, without a helmet on, his hair flowing, les cheveux dan'l'vent, and destroy the Flyers with 3 beautiful wristers.

Wait, that was Lafleur in the late 70's
brobin
This is a huge 4 point game.. So far they have sucked in these games (Boston, florida, Lightning, etc). I hope they turn it around this weekend and at least split, but both wins would really help the drive to the playoffs.

Hope to see some Subbinator action
KEEP26
moore not even playing C....
ForumGhost
Subban really knows what to do on the offensive blue line.
brobin
Nice plays by Subban to get a great shot, but he better be careful. JM will staple him to the bench with a single give away. sad.gif

brobin
Gill and subban.. like having a cargo van and a Porshe in the same garage. smile.gif
Habsy
First impressions? Subban looks awesome. I'm delighted, another good young player. There are some positives with this team, we just have to look for them.
ForumGhost
Bullshit. 100% bullshit. How can the ref call that a goal when he was RIGHT THERE?
brobin
Surprised there was no whistle, but apparently the ref was going to let the flyers slash it out of his glove.
KEEP26
how is that goal...just push price in the net
brobin
and now after letting about 5 straight calls go against Philly.. its time to call the habs.

Get used to it.. the habs were doing well until Philly took liberties and the refs let it go.. since then they have been all over the habs.
bar
Hartnell shoveled Price into the net, can there be anymore definition of goalie interference?
brobin
No, but he did knock the puck loose. I would argue that he made contact with the goalie and interfered with his ability to keep the puck out. If Price still had his arm across the line that doesn't go in.

Hartnell should have been in the box about 3 times for cross checks, but he won't get called for it.

bar
Price might have been able to make the play if Hartnell didn't spin him into the net, it's another BS call added to the shit calls this season during habs games. They have video playback it's time to use it, let coaches have challenges, ala football. If the refs aren't going to get them right someone has to.
brobin
Great interview by Subban... he even remember to add some French..

Subban for Captain.. lol
bar
Well Subban can talk to the media, doesn't need any work with that heh.
brobin
Ugh... this team has to step up.. its nice to beat Washington and Pitts, but we have to beat the teams we are fighting with for a playoff spot more.

Price needs to stop that one..
bar
Turnovers...turnovers turnovers...GOD DAMN TURNOVERS!
brobin
All but over.. While Price is not playing great, he is not the only one... Totally brutal play by the entire team..look like kids playing men.
Habsy
It's funny, but Michael Leighton wouldn't even be the starter in Hamilton. If we can't score on this scrub, not much hope.
bar
Price played great in the first period, as did the rest of the team, they haven't been the same after that first goal.
brobin
So they are bigger then us. They are also faster then us apparently, since the habs are afraid to get hit.

I don't believe the habs are capable of playing a team like the flyers when the flyers show up. They can crash our net, we can't get near theirs.
Habsy
Is it me, or does Dominic Moore look like Dustin Diamond, aka Screech?? Sorry, but this game is over.
bar
The D does look disjointed, we all knew Markov meant a lot to this team but damn...he can't have made this much of a difference.
brobin
Shots are 18 to 7, and I believe 6 of our shots were in the first 5 minutes...
jrhabs
Once again the Jeckyl and Hyde team

Defence didn't make the trip and the flyers manhandling us like rags

I'm pissed
bar
Anyone wanna chip in to get Spacey a book that teaches you to hit the net?
brobin
Move subban up to the first PP unit so we can get a damn shot from the point...
bar
Of course...this game is turning into a giant shit show.
