I wouldn't get too worked up about Kreviazuk. She's a pop singer, not an anthem singer--and she made a pro-Canada statement with her rendition, which counts in my book, at least.

Treasonous *** MAY *** be a bit severe ... but he is no longer a patriotic Canadian I-M-O ... and should never have been associated to Team Canada.

I wouldnt get too worked up over it. Treasonous, he hasnt lived in Canada for a little while, NHLers arnt paid for their politics nor do many have extensive education. Many rich folks support republicans, they could care less who is talking head. All about the $$$.

It was incredible hockey, if someone doesn't appreciate what we just watched, then they are simply not a hockey fan. They might be a fan of a team, but it was a fantastic tournament. That said, Gretzky not saying anything when Trump suggested that Canada be the 51st state and he be the governor.... him not pushing back on that, and wearing a maga hat and going to the inauguration, he's treasonous to the country now. Never expected that out of Wayne Gretzky.

I agree. His issue wasn't anything like the people he is being compared too here. He just randomly did asinine things in the defensive zone with the puck that would scare you to high hell. He was very solid defensively... except for when his brain turned off lol
