  1. If Danault can move over DD it would be optimal but I still don't know how I feel about him still on the squad I guess he has a purpose but meh. I personally think Radulov should be on the second line giving us two actual solid scoring lines and he has shown to be a decent two way player similar to pleks. Change it up for the PP though. If Price stays healthy it's definitely possible I'm not a big fan on relying on the kids to carry too much weight but who knows we might get surprised.
  2. He had a bad game 7 but so did the rest of his team. Rinne was just as bad, that series in general was tough on Nashville and that had a lot to do with San Jose just being a beast team that put it all together and Nashville still took it to game 7. I can see both players doing well this year or at least I hope they can. Being a PK fan and Weber fan is not mutually exclusive. Lol
  3. He hasn't won any Stanley cups and Nashville has never made it out of the second round. Is that all Webers fault?
  4. I think people around here will come around more to Weber when he is out there scoring goals and taking names, sticking up for teammates and throwing big hits. Dude is a stud and like Will mentioned its not necessarily who is the better player but how the team as a whole works together that makes a team a stanley cup champion. With a guy like Weber who doesn't take any crap out there and will defend the best player on our team will be a huge gain. https://youtu.be/xscc0W2lbVI Having this on our side will be awesome to watch. I loved watching Subban but like Stogey alluded too, I think things were not working out in the room and there was a big rift and it sucks that he was the one to go but whats done is done and now we have Shea. Heres to that! https://youtu.be/5RyTCmy4ink BTW sorry about the links I don't know how to Embed
  5. Haha man that clip of Subban out skating that Tampa player behind the net making him do a back flip was gold! I will miss those plays man he was so fun to watch!
  6. Yeah I agree with you guys, maybe wishful thinking on my part I do think he has a lot of potential. If Lehkonen does make the team I think having a guy like Radulov around will help him accumulate to the NHL and to help him with his progress. Carr and Andrighetto have a real chance to break through out of all the kids I think they had the most looks and experience playing with the big club hopefully that transitions over this year. Sergachev was a great pick up man I'm still surprised we got him TBH.
  7. Do you think Lehkonen can break into the top 6? He has a ton of skill
  8. I was more just trying to be funny with that line. Anchorman Didn't mean to get in the middle of it just wanted to lighten the mood But thanks Will I appreciate the warm welcome man and for sure this forum was my first stop for anything habs newsy.
  9. Gotta love the debates around here and I can't wait for September looking forward to see what this club can do. Thanks Don
  10. ? I'm a new poster but a long time reader of these forums and I have found it to be a pretty insightful and educational. Not to mention a pretty respectful community which is pretty hard to find nowadays. I decided to bite the bullet and become a member
  11. A lot of positive talk on his camp. I hope he does too I mean we have a couple young guys with potential that can make the jump. As crappy as last season was it did give a lot of the young guys some experience and confidence. A little positivety anyway ?
  12. I think they will mix up gally and plex between the two lines and see what fits. Also isn't shaw I better RW, I know he can play all positions but I read somewhere that he prefers the right side
  13. Weber going to make sure that knee stays safe and sound this year!
  14. While I agree with most of what you are saying and you obviously have a lot of information regarding PK, I think you are being a little biased towards him. Which is not a problem I too think he is a top D man but has faults just like everyone even Weber who had a terrible game 7. I'm not trying to take a shot at PK here but it seems Weber isn't getting a fair chance around here either. In the end I am a habs fan and Weber is our man now let's get behind him I agree man good points
  15. Has anyone heard how price is doing? The stays on the knee injury?
  16. I honestly hope both Subban and Weber absolutely dominate this year which could very likely happen. I think both players are studs and will make their teams better. I also think subban will be a better player once he matures a little more man I could see him being a big force in the next couple of years. I do worry about the Nashville D in the west though they are going to get banged up real good with Weber gone. Here is hoping that Montreal can get it done this year I'm feeling really optimistic this year and it seems like Price is super happy to have a guy like Weber infront of him
  17. That said I do truely love PK watching him in the Boston series a couple years back was amazing. He was such a beast! Hope Weber can fit right in and I really like the idea of a Weber Carey duo I think they fit better than Carey PK but only time will tell. Cheers!?
  18. http://canadiens.nhl.com/gamecenter/en/recap?id=2015020977 I love PK but I think he is being a tad overrated on this board. He is not as quick as some think and is prone to many sloppy plays. He falls into the trap of doing too much and not making the smart play with his team mates.
