  1. did not see game, how did Merrill do? is he an upgrade on Kulak? To bad it has to be Perry that fights this team's battles. Good leadership his behalf but other team / player not really scared... like maybe a Lucic. LOL
  2. what is the status of Price? When will he be available?
  3. Listening to James Duthie on TSN yesterday, pretty much saying Montreal is not going to get any higher then 4th, implying here is a tier difference in the top 4. Right now i think the Leafs are higher then the rest but what the Jets and Oilers did at the deadline has not impressed me. Montreal have three games in hand and with Montreal's next three games are vs Calgary x's 2 and Ottawa. If Montreal goes on a bit of a role, they can get themselves back in the picture with Edmonton and Winnipeg. i personally do not think moving into 2nd or 3rd is not attainable. these next three games are very important for the Habs. Game 1 Calgary will be playing game 2 of a back to back.
  4. i apologize if this was already answered but to be honest i did not read the whole post. What happens "IF" Mete goes unclaimed? Does he go to Laval, and at what cost? It would help a solid Laval team and maybe build up his confidence.
  5. Now what about a Chiraot and draft pick to Dallas for Oleksiuk? is he good enough to play with Weber or Petry and add to to top 4 with Merrill /Edmundson with Romanov in bottom pairing.
  6. i do not see numbers beside the each of the lines, representing which is 1 and which is 4.
  7. i think Staal has more offensive upside than Danault even at 36. Looking at his last seasons performance (19g, 47 its - 66 games). Give him speed and some hands in Tatar and veteran savvy in Perry, i think this line could be effective. Obvious all players in Buffalo this season have not performed well. i don't think you can use that sample size (in Buffalo) as what Staal can bring.
  8. good pick up as it was obvious the forward group needed some more vet leadership. Lines: Drouin, Kotkaniemi, Gallagher Toffoli, Suzuki, Anderson Lehkonon, Danault, Armia - defensive Tatar, Staal, Perry Evans - needs more time in Laval Byron - unfortunate odd man out due to his salary I hope anther move is in the works for a D
  9. Does anyone think Lehkonen can transition to play centre, solid defensively, good third / 4th line type player. don't see him being any higher than the is a winning line up. Similar traits to Danault... potentially.
