The habs are getting some major flu's this season. Usually those things are done after 48 hours. I hope Markov get's the flu a few times this year and only plays 60 games so he can peak in mid April. As long as the Habs keep winning of course. Would be so ideal to let Markov rest on back to backs.

Thank Jezus! Mitchell and Danault should not be used on the PP. Mitchell has enough on his plate playing on the best 4th line in the league and being the only capable face off man at this point. Danault does not play the type of game needed to be in front of the net, he's way to polite.

Oh I think I was misunderstood. Kirk has done wonders as the go between early on between the players and MT. What I intended to convey was that Kirk can't be happy with the PP. They are employing the Blues zone gaining tactic by drop passing to a player with speed but the Habs don't have it down to a science yet. Kirk is a wonderful man, a great leader and a true saint.

Kirk is struggling for sure, he will work hard to adjust and improve you can count on that.

Kirk will NEVER be the head coach of the Habs. He does not want to be, he is very happy as associate and loves being back in Montreal. But yes to your point I would love to see that.

I'm a huge PK fan. But so far the Habs keep winning and PK keeps putting up the minus rating and the Predators are a below .500 hockey team. None of this may be sustainable however...

Should I close the Subban trade thread? Or merge the two? What are people feeling? ( I have not been around much so not even sure I should or am able to make decisions like this)

The two trades ones for sure are comparable, but an appreciation thread is a different animal.
