I agree 100% the habs can not trade Rivet. I have never been a rivet fan until this season. He has upped his game and shows up ever night very few mistakes.

In bonks defence he only play 16 min a game against the Top line most nights, he is much more used to 19-22 min a game and although this does not seem like much it makes a huge difference. I think he needs to be put with one offensive player rather than bulis and sunny who are all Swedish and no Finnish. Although bulis is a Czech it is still a good pun.

Kovalev is very important for not only the entire team but also especially Saku. Having Kovalev on the ice draws attention away from Koivu, which just makes them both so much better. It also effects how team line match the Habs because there is no big time goal scorer in the Habs line-up teams have more free range of who they put on the ice thus giving them the control of the pace of the game. All I can say is reputation carries a lot of weight.

I agree. Habs should have had Brian Lee Luke Bourdon Or Marc Stall instead of Price. But Gainey knows best I am sure. Next the habs traded up to get Gui good move I don’t believe anyone will argue. And the habs next pick was not until 121. I am sure Gainey knows how to draft players and will make this team a perennial powerhouse before he leaves office. And 2 drafts ago habs did take Alexei Yemlin who will hopefully turn out to be a great defender.

Personally I think that once our team is back. (Kovy, KREX, SOURAY, MARKOV) The Ryder Higgins PLex line will be amazing. Ribero can play on the 4th line and the PP

And don’t tell me the three I placed in front of markov are brutal because none of them were high draft choices lets just remember markov was not even in the top 150 picks. If souray can get better then maby. Also both of these players are injured as of right now and both have injury problems and yes ozolinsh is older but tha habs have plenty of young defenders.
