Koivu is fine when he was hit with that puck he was right back out there with his lone for their next shift. If koivu was hurt or in danger of making this injury worse he would rest it now rather then it come back to haunt him late in the season and during the playoff stretch. It might be bruised at most he will be his usual self tonight.

Don't get me wrong I would love to see Begin get a Hat Trick I just dont think it will happen. But you do never know and there is always the off chance that if Bonk is back tonight maby Begin will get some 2nd line ice with Ryder and Ribero. So dont get me wrong I have always believed Begin as a hard worker and it would be a beautiful thing to see him light up his old boys.

Someone predicted HABS 7 sabres 3 and although I think that is possible Begin a hat trick. If that happens I will.... I don’t know what I would do but that would be unbelievable.

Well 4th in the east would be spectacular I cant even remember the last time we had round one home ice. And as for the rookies it’s hard to produce with 4th line ice but I imagine Perez will get another shot with the top 2 lines. I know Higgins is our future lock down centre and gets to play with Ribs and Ryder in the 3rd period as a defensive specialist. And Plex well he will do well I am sure of that he does make the odd mental error but is still getting PK time and his overall confidence will grow.

Ovechkin will win the Calder even if crosby scores 15-25 more points then him. I believe this beacuse of the suporting cast that Crosby has in Pittsburgh compared to the one that Ovechkin has surrounding him in Washington. When I read your comments I do understand where you are coming from but lets remember the old adage. You must be good to be lucky and must also be lucky to be good. Furthermore why can't Montreal finish 2nd in the league, we have the skill and most of the time it appears we work hard every shift except for the few full periods that the boys have not shown up. In our two games against the Senators the Habs matched them stride for stride and they are arguably the Best the NHL has to offer. That’s just my opinion. Wow I love this web site.

I love that Idea. Why not he does have the hot hand and although Dags may have helped out with some screens on two of our goals last night Begin could do all that and more. And whos to say if Begin did get the chance he may put up some consistant numbers.

Bonk has a stroined grain from the morning skate. I'd still say he's doubtful for this game. The RDS TSN AND SPORTS NET guys all said he was out with the flu. The same flu that was supposed to keep Begins shifts to a minimum and that did keep Perezhogin's shifts short and few and far between.

Yes I agree. Dags is not in the Habs long term plans and does not seem to have any short term upside so lets get a rook some quality ice. I like Perezhogin having another shot with some new linemates he goes to the net hard and is very skilled would maby throw a few more pucks at the net and cause more havoc on a line with a play maker (Ribero) and one of our snipers (Ryder).
