Coyotes @ Canadiens: 7:30PM EST RDS, CityM

I don't like it any more than you do, but I understand it. Beaulieu doesn't shoot nearly enough from the point. Pateryn isn't much of an improvement either. So like I said, unless you're willing to throw a forward back on the point, Therriens' basically got three guys to rotate on the PP for the time being. -

There's not a lot of offensive weapons on the blueline, so unless you're willing to play a forward on the point, someone gets a full PP, and it won't be Markov. -

The only thing Chuck was missing on that was the silver platter, and Beaulieu can't finish it -

I guess guys forgot how to backcheck -
How can you call Kassian a bust on the ice before he's ever played a game? If he doesn't get into that accident during training camp, he's probably on the 23-man roster and Paul Byron is in Stockton. Kassian was brought in to be a bottom-six forward, and that's probably where he'll slot in when he's ready to come back, though he'll probably be in St. John's for a few weeks to get in game shape. But today, no one knows what Kassian is except a player under contract.

and a big FU to Chris Lee. And the people who introduced his parents. And the hospital staff in the delivery room. And just to be safe, the last five generations of both sides of his family. I don't blame him for one second for getting his stick up, especially if he saw that it was Rinaldo coming at him. There's ten in guys in Providence who could contribute more than he does. And at least one of them sells programs at the games.

No. 1 centre this year? No. But it is time for him to show that he can be a bona fide NHL centre, and he seems to be rising to the challenge, his wingers notwithstanding. I wouldn't worry too much about his stats, other than his faceoff stats. He's had a good start, so let's see if he can build on that. There's no doubt that he's putting in the effort required, and that's all that can be asked of him.

I would have bet good money that Lee would call a penalty on Plex for that great back-check

How can a guy turn an odd-man rush into nothing? If you're gonna cross into the slot, get a damn shot off!
