or ten. Not a lot to boast about yet, but there's still nothing to get overly worried about either. Even though they didn't carry the play, but they didn't let the game get away from them.

And Patches seals the deal

SCORES!!! GALCHENYUK!!!!

Hasek sees this he's gonna want to come out of retirement again

let the goalie flopping commence

SCORES!!!! PETRY!!

Gallagher gets 2 minutes for not being able to stop or turn.

Healy was his pretty typical self when he said that if Bergevin had his say on the captaincy, then Plekanec would be wearing the C and not Pacioretty. I think if Bergevin wanted to have Plex wear the C, he would have done it, last season.

notice Martin isn't wearing a Leafs jersey...

NOW, we go on the powerplay

If you're gonna jump in and defend a guy, knowing you're going on the powerplay, you have to make sure you take someone else with you, get at least another roughing call. otherwise, file it away for later in the game, hopefully with a clean hit.

Smith-Pelley nullifies the PP.

Habs get the first PP of the game. Let's see what this year's team can do up a skater.

Weise taps the post on a three-on-two

SCORES!!!!

Pasquale was the most consistent goalie that suited up here when they were the Jets farm team, and only an injury moved him off the depth chart as Michael Hutchison took the reins and led the IceCaps on their Calder Cup run in 2012-13, and then to a job in Winnipeg. It will be interesting to see if that magic can happen again when he suits up down on New Gower Street again this year. Budaj couldn't find his game here, so it will also be interesting if Tokarski can find his game again and maybe find another place to play, if not back in Montreal.

I have one post to make, 'cause I just can't hold it in and I'm not watching the third period after the way second ended. Carey Price can have the whole plane to himself - coaching staff included. The rest of this pathetic excuse for a line-up can walk to TO carrying their own ing bags, 'cause Carey carried them enough tonight.

Budaj stones Elias and put two more in the bank.

A couple of weeks ago, down a goal late or tied, I was sure they find a way to let the game slip away from them. Right now, I think they can get the goal late in the period.

Gallagher in OT

DESHARNAIS!!!

ELLER!!!

Moen takes Briere's place with Plex and Gionta again

You'll probably see Parros and Murray rotate into the lineup as well

Can't believe Gallagher didn't convert that chance in front.
