Better off without "Fedor off"!

They didn't play terrible....they are terrible........we should try to annihilate them just for the mere fact they broke the make-belief's 7-game losing streak!.....As for Vinny, he's the best cherry-picker in the league; always must beware he doesn't slip behind our D (especially during our PP).

All great points..........plus he's one of the main reasons we get PP opportunities in the first place, (I'd like to know if there is a stat on this) because he's so hard to knock off the puck..............One more thing, everytime I see a habs interviewed these days, all they talk about is team chemistry......I'm sure Kovy's is looked up to by many of the Russians (+ Borat) on our team ....We do not see what goes on off the ice, which is part of the chemistry..............The team is playing well right now.....Like someone said before "Don't fix what ain't broken"!

Although it worked out Ok at the end, I hope we don't play the 1-4 trap against these guys again........I like it better when we go in there and attack (pound) their D, like we did in that first game (even though we lost we outplayed them most of the game). Habs 5 (Plex 2, Bonk, Ryder 2) Buffalo 2

Yeah, I know what you mean....those were some of the best looking PP's we've had in a while...don't know if it was just because we were playing the NYI, but we put some quality shots on net.....I think Carbo was equally impressed as he let Kovy Koivu & Easy finish the game together .....Ryder although he isn't scoring right now is still working hard and getting his chances...........BTW did anybody else see the 3,4,5 moves Samsonov made out our blue line before passing the puck up for one of our goals last night? The guy's trying, so lets give hime some slack; hopefully the goals will follow..........Finally, I really like Streit's game right now, both as a set man for Souray on the PP, but he also showed a lot of savvy on the 4th line .....as someone previously mentioned Plex-Begin-Streit might be able to hold their own, and then some.

Mine disappeared as well today.....nothing sexual about a picture of the Cup (I think?).

'Canes might try to get physical and try to run Huet like they did last year (****in' ugly Brind'Amour)..........they lost at home 4-1 to Ottawa on Tuesday, so they might come out in an ornery state......might want to dress Downey for this one.............Habs 4, Canes 2 (Easy (2), Plex, Borat)

Sorry, but I am still not sold on this guy's (Bonk's) heart.........He seems like he has the talent, but only chooses to use it when it will be benefitting him (not necessarily the team)........I have to admit that he's done well this year, but this a contract-negotiation year (remember Brisebois?)...I also remember when he got drafted by the Sens, he opted to play in Las Vegas until he got what he wanted money-wise........just not convinced yet.

I watched to Florida feed as well....they were more impressed by our second line than Gui, and I agreed with them; they started turning the game around about halfway through the second...........On a side note, I was very impressed by the Florida anouncers Denis Potvin & Bill (?) Strater, they did a couple of really nice features on the Canadiens heritage.........comparing them to the Yankees, re-visiting the retired HOF'ers with some old footage, a tribute to Beliveau, and Savard's jersey being raised.........I actually think they did more Habs stuff than Panther's stuff (I guess not much there to start with).

In Souray & Rivet you're talking about our 2 assistant captains who are both well-respected by their teammates.........I would not mess around too much with team chemistry.

Like he did with Dandy in his first game back, I wouldn't be surprised if Carbo has Cube playing 4th line forward on Wednesday..........just to get a taste of game action........also since Minnesota is a fast team, it would be unfair to expect too much from Cube for his first game this year.......as for the Kosty situation, I think he played well enough to be considered for another look later on this year......Unless there is a pending trade, which I doubt, I can't see anybody else aside from Plex centering Kovy & Sammy........It is very obvious that Kovy is favoring his knee.......in the past few games when he's been hit, he's fallen very easily to the ice, which tells me that he's trying not to put any pressure on his injured knee by bracing up against it..........kudos to Kovy for playing through it, however his presence at center (especially on faceoffs) is hurting the club --> end of experiment.

Different roles..........different players......you need a guy to drop the gloves when needed.......that's not AK46's job.............although in the 2 games this year, I noticed alot of upper body strength --> very hard to knock off the puck Assuming no further injuries, when Higgins gets back, leave Gui with Saks & Easy, Higs centers the 2 vet comrades..........I would not touch the Bonk line....4th line--> Plex+begin +INSERT Player (against certain teams --> AK46, against others --> Downey........ Murray would be the swing guy....I though he did great in the playoffs last year with Plex..........again, assuming no injuries On a side note, I noticed a guy named Stafford playing with Buffalo........is he the same guy that Perez high-sticked while playing w/Hamilton??

If the Habs don't win the cup, I'll be cheering for the BlackHawks, cause if they do, that would make the Leafs the team that hasn't won the cup for the longest period of time!!

I think he should be banned because he hates another team as much as the leafs (what I'm trying to say is that you may not like another team, but hatred should be reserved only for the make-beliefs).

I know what you mean, but I think at the moment he is playing with a minor nagging injury (charleyhorse?)....don't know how much this is affecting him physically, but I don't think he's all there yet mentally.......I thought the home opener on Saturday would wake him up, but he appeared to be floating most of the game.....Hate to say this but I think we need Tucker to take another run at him to get him going!

Just to compare....Here in Southern California, we pay $149 for just about (99.9%) every single game during the season plus the first three playoff rounds. Ducks & Kings games are blacked out but we get them on Fox anyway. OLN is now Versus and those 1 to 2 games/week we get to see on HD (and yes, unlike ESPN they do show some Canadian teams once in a while).................It's a great deal especially if you're a baseball fan as well, because Center Ice hockey uses the same channels as their sister baseball packet, so we also get all the baseball games (about 7 weeks worth) until the hockey finals start in June.
