History is on our side with Kovy, he has been in 5 game 7's and hasen't lost any.

Come on guys we gotta believe they can still get this done, I don't care if they go out in the second round. Just don't collapse like this. We can still win this series, it just doesn't look as easy as it was a few games ago. Kovy was pretty invisible out there, but there havent been too many occasions this year where he played 2 stinkers in a row.

I have a feeling about this game. I see a really fast start for the boys, Saku's back, Frankie's back, Streit is possibly back. We will win this game either 4-1 or 5-2. I predict a 3/6 night on the pp, with higgins potting his first 2 goals of the series.

He hasen't missed that much time, looked pretty good in practice (I know it's only practice but still...) I'd rather have a rusty Koivu in the lineup over a guy who played 1 NHL game that meant nothing against one of the worst teams in the league who started their backup, and were playing without their best player by a mile. Besides in this series we have the superior talent, all we need is the motivation to put it together.

For that to happen though we need to skate and draw penalties, drive to the net hard so the bruins are forced to take a penalty, or give up a scoring chance. The only line that has been doing that has been Smokes line. Someones gotta give higgins a shake and tell him its playoff time.

The thing everyones gotta realize is that we're still in control of this series. Boston may have some momentum now but the first period/goal in game 6 will do a lot to squash that.

Thats why I think we will win Saturday, we were not dominated by any stretch of the imagination. Boston simply capitolized on the chances they had in the third (although Hammer did not hold that Bruins player for the tying goal)

Thomas has not had to make a big save in the last 2 games, we're not getting any chances, and when we do have a chance we're shootin it wide! No doubt in my mind, saturday Koivu make a miraculous comeback, the pp goes 3 for 6 and we advance to the second round. Don't take it easy on them carbo, skate them into the ground tomorrow.

This is where Higgins, Ryder, and Latendresse really need to step up. We need to give the Bruins something to think about other than the Kovy line. At least till Saks comes back.
