15 shots in the 2nd period, the habs better tighten up or they are going to get blown out again.
God they are playing sloppy on the PP... they are making dumb passes, just don't look sharp. Get it to the point and get the shot on net...

From what I have seen, i would rather have Ribs out there then Bulis and Sundstrom. Neither of them are looking good to me. I hate seeing bulis on a PP.

Seriously, I hope the leafs go to the basement and stay there for 10 years. Perhaps that will result in Montreal and Ottawa getting some air time on these networks and the hiring of some non-biased commentators.

Wow, Toronto has not had an even strength goal in 4 games, but keeps winning. They have a great PP and the refs love to give them opportunities.
Even with a fair ref, this makes me nervous. The Habs just take too many dumb penalties, which is why they can't beat the leafs.

Interesting, Souray recently switched back to his old stick, after using a new type all season... This switch coincides with his improved offense.....

If it hasn't been mentioned yet, the ref is the same Toronto born puke that ripped us off in two previous games against the leafs this season.
Will be interesting to see if he is as biased in the Habs building as he was in Toronto....

Wow, the refs are really working to get the leafs back in it. Blatent trip let go, then a minor hook called on Carolina. Then they basically let the leafs hack away at a guy when he is down laying on the puck rather then blow the whistle on the leaf PP.
Leafs score on the PP.. naturally.

Koivu has not played well at all lately. He has also gotten every opportunity on PP and 5-3 to get it going. I was not keen on his resigning at that price because I just don't see him being our number 1 center in the coming years if we are making a cup run. Would love him as a number 2 center, but not at that price.
That said, stripping him C is not warrented. Cutting his ice time a bit might be, but pulling his C will kill this team's morale and accomplish nothing. Taking away his ice time or benching him for a period will send a message without being insulting to him.
I do find it odd the indignation people have when Koivu gets critisized. When Rib was getting ripped earlier in the season he was called everything under the sun, blamed for all the team's woes, etc. That wasn't fair either.
Still, if Koivu doesn't start earning his pay we won't make the playoffs. And he might not be the only problem, but he is the captain and he just signed the big contract to be the number one guy for the next several years. The responsibility goes with the rewards.....

I am getting real impressed with Rib's play of late. Great hustle both offensively and defensively. He seems to really like playing with Kovalev.

What a crock of Bull. The score of the Habs game is of interest to viewers only as it relates to the Leaf's... I hope the leafs don't make the playoffs for the next ten years and those Leaf centric networks get hammered in the pocketbook....
that goes for the CBC, TSN, and Sportsnet....
