First of all....I am officially declaring myself a non-MTL canadiens fan anymore until Guy Carbonneau is no longer the head coach...82 games watched religiously All for Nothing.... 1) where was Saku and Kovalev tonight? Nowhere to be found...I think both deserve to be shipped to Siberia 2) Guy Carbonneau should go kill himself...he doesn't know what hes doing behind the bench 3) Bob Gainey is mentally ######ed for not going out and getting a big name centre at the trade deadline 4) For all of you who said have faith in the kids....children are the future my f*cking ass, let them develop in the AHL 5) Tonight really revealed Carbonneau's inability to coach...putting out ROOKIES in the 3rd, while giving the veterans minimal time out there (kostitsyn as an extra attacker as well....like what the F....the guy had how many goals in the past 10 games?) 6) moving perezhogin to the first line.....is that a joke? 7) Putting all of the weight into Huet's lap was ridiculous...he let in 3 softies, which 2 of 3 would have most likely been saved? Anyways, not going to vent anymore...Guy Carbonneau coaching and BG= garbage....Fact or truth? Both....Truth hurts. I forget the last time OSM had anything positive to say....has he ever? I might have missed the sarcasm from wamsley's post in the other thread...but I'm just seeing facts put on the table here. Kovalev is not the reason why we are fighting for 8th....the team as one sh*t the bed and went on vacation for about a month and a half, got stung with the flu, and had some injuries/underachievers to deal with along the way. And that so-called "slacking bum" Kovalev leads MTL in playoff points since he arrived. What does Perezhogins name amount up to? He's a one dimensional player, and that dimension that he's supposed to have has been non existent (scoring goals). Heck, Kovalev's effective 5 on 5, PP, and does okay on the PK considering he shouldn't even be out there. Perezhogin might be better elsewhere, but its simple as this, the depth chart coming from the Hamilton prospects right now have earned them the spots, rightfully so.

I go and watch Canadiens games at the biggest sports bar in all of Toronto, Wegz, sometimes...and let me tell you.. I never have a problem in getting them to put at least one screen on for the Habs. What you experienced my friend, was a cold shoulder. If I were you, I would have gone to the facilities, filled up my pint with a "surprise substance" , and launch it on the TV that the wench changed. I think Halak should play against Ottawa because they know nothing about him! Huet seems to be pretty good vs buffalo, it should be interesting to see how things unfold :hlogo:

Speaking of slandering...why are you slandering someone who came for peanuts in a trade for Josef F'n Balej? Can you please explain to me where Josef is these days? And lets do a little comparison.... Kovalev-112 Regular Season Points, 17 Playoff Game points Balej-5 Regular Season Points, 0 playoff game points (Currently in the AHL for Manitoba) *Note, Kovalev finished with more points than Koivu last season, and also more playoff points in both seasons of playoffs Put that in your pipe and smoke it, hes an amazing hockey player and a key contributor to the Canadiens along with being a great person in general. Second of all I think that Russian newspaper is a crock of sh*t and I don't believe it for a second...But if it is, who cares...he looked just fine tonight, and at the end of the day, he's still putting points up on the board.

I hate seeing Bonk and Johnson go, but you gotta do what you gotta do! They have great chemistry and are by far our best penalty killers, but we need to free up cap space and hope the rooks show up, with the likes of resigning both markov and souray. They are like McCabe and Kaberle...they need each other. Abby can flop somewhere else, Ryder can go somewhere else too! :hlogo:
