I love what Demidov brings to the powerplay. Can't wait to see what it looks like when it's well rehearsed by this unit next season.

This is bullshit

Bad start, and special teams were the main factor. Stinking up our powerplay was a momentum killer, and taking the two penalties kept us from getting much going. Need to be a hell of a lot better than that.

I'm still wired from that game....falling asleep is not going to happen anytime soon.

The big guns blazed, secondary scoring came through, and we gave better than we got physically. Aside from a couple of blown coverages in our own end, pretty close to an ideal game for the good guys.

I pulled mine working out, just a mild strain, but I still had to baby it for 8 weeks before I could really test it. Of course, my being 50 might have been a factor in the recovery time, and Monty will have a pro training staff and daily treatments to speed up his recovery.

Trying not to get too giddy here, but...hard not to right now.

Feels good cashing your single game parlay with a whole period to spare. Caufield to score, Suzuki to score, and Hutson to get an assist almost seemed too easy....and then a 30% odds boost on top of that? I had to play it!

Losing Anderson for 10min hurts.

We are owed a call, or a non-call the next time we legit take a penalty.

Turned it on for the 3rd, but couldn't finish. We've seen this before.

He has had 2 good passes, but has mishandled the puck a ton. As for Savard, he looks bad most nights.

I big hit on Ovi would be great...but easier said than done.

Laine looks horrid so far. Twice he failed to clear our zone with the puck on his stick, and then that horrid turnover on the rush.

If they can play 2 periods out of 3 the way that they played in the 3rd period last game, they will win. Stay out of the box, clear the damn zone with urgency when they get possession, and pay close attention to Ovi at all times....simple priorities that will lead to a better outcome.

Normally my nerves are frayed when it goes to OT in the playoffs, but right now I just feel relieved to have a chance in OT after the way the game went for 2.5 periods.

Matheson is at 3 and counting by my count. I have yelled "You stupid c**t" at the TV 4 times....one for each giveaway and the other was for his stick wave where he got burned to start the game. I'm usually pretty accurate.

WTF was Matheson thinking there? That god-awful stick check that he got burned on to start the game, and now that bonehead turnover...I fear this is going to be one of those games from 8
