Exactly. Huet frightens me when he wanders. He's so damn solid in all other areas, though. Dandy looks good as a forward. Every time Plekanec is on the ice, good things happen. Is he the MVP of this team this year? Not sold on Grabovski and Kostitsyn as a 2nd line.... man it's early in the season to be upset about line combos. Basically team looks really solid except for the occasional Breezy giveaway, Grabs/####, and Latendresse.

I worship Satan. Man the Rangers dominated tonight. They played great and Habs didn't show up. A big opportunity blown. I will miss Saturday's game and I'm kinda glad. It'll be more tense than a playoff game.

You guys should know that I got home and flicked on the game... 2-0 Isles. Habs went on to outscore them 5-1.... it must be all because of me. Seriously, tonight the team did not miss Kovalev or Samsonov at all. Kostitsyn, Plex, Higgins, Latendresse give me (some) hope for the future.

I still have great faith in Bob but his failure to deal Souray for something solid last week was a weak move. He couldn't honestly have believed that this team was making the playoffs.... Habs could have gotten a great return for Souray and this was his worst (non) move as Habs GM.

It would. Agreed. But I'm thinking that if it's two high picks and a top prospect, the Habs should consider it. Two picks, a prospect, and a decent active player, and they should take it.

Ugh. This one is also ugly. Typically Mtl deserves its penalties but there have been some real softies tonight. Bad officiating. Actually they've been so bad that I'm choosing to watch the Raptors (they beat the Nets) instead.

For me, this wasnt a "anger" game, it was more of a sad game. Sad that this team is so hopeless. We look outskilled and outclassed by every team in the league. Maybe not Philly....

I actually can't get this game tonight. But if I was watching, I'm sure I'd be frustrated. All's I'm saying is that I try to not let my frustration get me acting foolishly or posting just plain cynical comments. And I hate it when I snap after my wife after a tough loss. That's just wrong. Time to get off my high horse, now.

Don't agree. We're all huge Habs fans on this site. But when the team is playing this poorly, I'll not watch, or I'll turn it off after the game looks out of reach. It's a much better coping technique: otherwise, I get angry and negative like A4L, I snap at my wife, I just get in a sour mood. And for what? A hockey game? Not worth it. I recommended A4L take a few games off to calm down. He's still here though.

Can't get the Habs game so I'm watching the Leafs/Pens. Both these teams are leagues better than the Habs right now.

In all seriousness, you should take a few games off. Don't watch, don't listen, don't get scores texted to your phone. Don't even read the papers. It might make you feel a little better. Cathartic. Just take a break for a bit.

I distinctly remember that game. The game before that one (Flyers) was bad, too. They had to grunt out an ugly win on a Johnson goal. It was a sign of things to come. It seems to be a real possibility that the Habs will miss the playoffs.

Agreed. Has anyone ever seen Koivu look this bad? He is two steps slower than everyone else, and his puck-handling is terrible. I think he's got to be nursing some secret injury (eye, perhaps?) because I can't believe he is this washed up.
