Is it just me or does the schedule looks like they play more on the road then at home, I know that is bull but, at first glance the first 3 games are away the last 2 are away, and it does not seem like there are any real strechs when they paly at home it looks to me as they are in a constant state of leaving town after a game or two to play away for 1 to 3 games.

My bad, I haven't seen hockey on tele in so long that I forget what wich position players play, It is a great memory but it doesn't last long.

Just a small note Koivu has a no trade clause, I strongly don't beleive he will leave even if their might be a way to flash a bunch of cash and to 'move' him to a team he 'would rather' play for. If he didn't want to be here why ask for a no trade clause?

looks like you may be a head in your thinking, though I do believe the development of our rookies would go a longer way with the addition of Shanahan in the line up, I'm not saying to go ahead and sign very Sergei, and Harry out there that is available, but Shanny would be able to kick Kovy in the a** those 2 games out of 3 he doesn't come to play, releive some of the leadership role from Saku something Rivet has not been able to do, and last but not least a class player as Brendan does deserve to finish his playing dayz with the most classy organization of all sports history with the bestest fans to ever have cheered for a team. On that note more then 4.5 mil is just too much, but if he truelly calls himself a hockey player maybe he should try playing for the REAL HOCKEY TOWN for a change.

With all that you said a lot makes sence but the most sence to me is: "missing a firstrounder in four years hurts", this is the truth cuz we may have the opportunity to select the 'next' Gagne and have him have an imidiate impact just like Gagne had when he come into the big league, and he would cost less then Gagne would at this present moment. I understand that in the resent past the draft choices of the Habs in the first round have not been that great to the exeption of Komi. but are we going/willing to give up the next 4 firstrounders under this new team of dafter for the sake of one player? And I thought the major problem is the center position with the Habs next year? on a personal note if Gagne has a problem with playing with MY/OUR BELOVED HABS F*** HIM, cuz I don't think the lippy flys have the money for him.

I would agree with bringing up Ferland or Lapierre on the 4th line but other then my fantesy of Shanny in a Habs uni, I think Anson Carter would be a great fit on the 2nd line aswell

How about Jeff Friesen? I can't say much about Halpern I'm little in the dark about his skills, but I like the Friesen plays, another Begin style player, and he's a UFA!!

I sometimes think that is what is going on with Bulis, Ribs, and possibly Kovy when guys like begin, Murray and Komi are on their guns and just nailing all that moves on the ice. And I'm not forgetting Bouillon by any means either, for a tiny guy he makes Ribs look like a big twat.
