Curious that you start this thread after his bad game yesterday. When Markov had the flu, he missed 2 games. Kovalev has the flu and played, and here are some of you, bashing him. Take off Kovalev and you'll see our PP crash and burn. What he may not bring anymore in points, he brings by creating more space for his linemates more often than not. May I also point out that we are sitting 4th in the eastern conference and trading one of our offensive players when things are going well is not the greatest of ideas.

I heard he was coming back against the Panthers. It was a muscle tear anyway, not a groin problem. Once the muscle is completily healed, it's good to go.

It's only a third jersey: it's not like they are going to wear it every game.

I never talked about putting Lapierre on the 2nd line, you quoted my message saying he could look good with Plekanec on the 4th line.

I'm lost as to why they didn't consider calling up Lapierre... he could easily fit on a line with Plekanec instead of a Downey or Murray.
