  3. This is a sad day for democracy in Pakistan and the Middle East.
  4. Hey I just got NHL 08 and xbox live this afternoon. I was just wondering how the league worked and if it is ok if I join or if it is to late?
  5. Nice GDT. Time to get back on track with a win in Tampa. GO HABS GO.
  6. Awesome GDT as always. Glad you came back!! GO HABS GO.
  7. I always love his GDT's and his contributions to Habsworld. I hope he comes back!
  8. I'm just about to leave Ottawa for the game. I don't think I could stomach a loss tonight. GO HABS GO!
  9. This slump is quickly turning into crisis mode. some very fundamental things are not going right.
  10. I 100% agree with this. I think players are thinking to much and not trusting themselves and or team mates. They lack that killer instinct when it comes to getting garbage goals and banging in the not so pretty goals. Any hockey team at any level needs to be able to produce like this in order to win games. Lets hope they get out of this slump soon.
  11. It is true the lower bowl is not full of suits in Montreal. There are a few suits in the lower bowl but it is NOTHING like Toronto.
  12. After reading about it more on TSN this morning it sounds like Richards is okay to play tonight. They said he could have come back for the 3rd last night but since they were being blown out they didn't want to risk it.
  13. Brad Richards went down pretty hard tonight. He might be out tomorrow. GO HABS GO.
  14. Bonk? I think Chips can grow into this roll but Im not sure if he is ready yet....
  15. I really don't see Vinny going anywhere Via a trade anytime soon. The only way the Habs have a shot at acquiring him is through UFA (whenever that is). Simple as that.
  16. "Playoffs?....you talking about playoffs?.....We're just tryin to win a damn game here" -Jim Mora I think the Players are here and they will make the playoffs. Every team goes through a slump during the course of the year so hopefully this is Montreal's time to get it out of the way. They really need to sort themselves out on D and I find that the most worrying thing right now. If you are incapable of stopping the other team from scoring then there are huge problems. However, I think for the first month and a half of the season the Habs' showed that they do have the players here to make the playoffs. Another worrying trend is how they don't have the confidence or stomach to hold on to one (or 3) goal leads late in the game. Some people will say it is Carbo's coaching strategy but when it comes down to it the players on the ice have to get the job done. Bottom line. This is still a young team and a work in progress, but skill wise I think this team belongs in the playoffs. But the improvements must start with the team Defence and ability to shut teams down/kill them off when the opportunity is presented to them. I think that for this team to make any noise in the playoffs a trade will have to be made, but just to make them I think we basically have the players barring a major injury (knock on wood).
  17. I didn't see a lot of video from camp before the season but I did see a few clips of O'Byrne really level some guys. I hope he can bring this physical play up with him and fit into the lineup easily.
  18. I was not aware of that but it makes sense. Thanks.
  19. I could be wrong but I thought with the call up of Halak the other day that put the Habs at their max roster position. So sending down Grabo and calling up 2 players does not add up? Unless someone else is going down, going on IR or being waived? I could be wrong with the numbers though....
  20. Hopefully they provide some much needed grit and character.
