They have no "veterans" worth keeping other than Kaberle, they already tried to trade Kubina twice. Antropov, Steen, Bell and Stajan are only 3rd and 4th line guys.....Blake is a good 2nd line forward and PP guy, but in no way gonna carry a team on his back. They have a back up goaltender as a #1, and unless they decide to play in the free agent market next summer, there is no way this team will be competitive in under 5 years.

They do....but how much fun is loosing going to be....that's why I said by Christmas.

If Gainey doesn't sign a big name, I could see him sign a depth player like a cooke, peca etc...other than that signing someone like Naslund, Demitra would be a step sideways, and would only take minutes away from developing our prospects.

I think the Habs should start a wall of fame for players like Naslund, they were really good and have a special place in our hearts, but not good enough to be in the Hall or having their number retired. IMO these guys deserve some sorta recognition.

I've been thinking of buying this game for a while now, I know FF13 is coming out in march for the P3, and I was thinking of waiting and buying that one. So is it worth buying this one now? Right now I'm playing FF11 online, another great game from the FF series.

Nobody condones what Perezhogin did. Even if it was justified. If you remember the other player hit him with his stick in the head first. It's not my style, but I can understand Prez's reaction. As for Williams, he has a history of "unintentional" high sticks. He almost cost us our Franchise player, the heart and soul of the Habs. And if I played for the Habs, I'd be looking to for some payback. IMO it has nothing to do with loosing to the Canes last year, this has to do with a dirty player getting what he deserves.
