  1. If Grabovski can show he can play on either the second or third line then he will probably stick with us for the season with Murray as the odd-man out. Lapierre, even playing badly, can do anything Murray can and more (except lose fights) so he's pretty much guaranteed a spot. chipchura has also shown that he cna play on the fourth and I'm thinking that using him on the first here is more about seeing the other centers in their appropriate positions than him earning a spot.

    We'll see. We'll see. We'll see.

His first season all he did was hustle (and score goals), his second season he started hitting (and scored goals), in this last season he could skate (and score goals). Also during last season he started actually skating with the puck, something he wasn't able to do in his first two season (not without being rubbed out along the boards). He's improved each year, just not in point totals. This year he'll get 80 pts (40-40)... remember, I said it first.

  7. While Markov has a reputation for being quiet I remember hearing someone (whom I can't name at the moment) say this about him: Once he's on the ice, he never shuts up.
  8. Choice 2, he's going to get better and we need to keep him around for it.
  9. 8 Comrie 3 million Comrie-Smolinski-Kovalev
  10. As much as I don't like it (I really want to see Latendresse-Smolinski-Ryder and hate the idea of the Bouillon-Dandenault pairing) that seems to be a really probable lineup.
  11. Ryder will surprise everyone this year.
  12. I see him more as a Yannick Perreault who can play defense.
  13. Rumours are that he's going to retire for sure now that Anaheim picked up Bertuzzi. It'd be nice if we could land Selanne, but who would we move over to LW?
