  1. I take Heatley right away! Natural goal scorers like him are pure gold. Plus he's younger and tougher than St-Louis.
  2. Kovalev is 15th with 23 922 votes! Keep it up guys! Side note: Huet leads eastern goaltenders with 64 351 votes (approx 7000 more than #2 Lundqvist) Markov is first with 30 000 MORE votes than #2 Chara!! Saku is 8th I think I'm gonna vote a couple more times for Kovy right now
  3. Yeah Chara deserved one game. But Kosto too, the rules are pretty clear on instigating a fight in the las t 5 mins.
  4. TONIGHT'S LINEUP: Koivu-Higgins-Ryder Plekanec-Kostitsyn-Kovalev Chipchura-Latendresse-Smolinski Grabovski-Bégin-Dandenault Kostopoulos received a one-game suspension for being the instigator of a fight in the last five minutes of saturday's game. Higgins has an ankle injury but plays anyway. Source: RDS
  5. No. We'll crush the Bruins tonight. That was overconfidence against the Sabres. We'll get back on tracks tonight. :ghg:
  6. I see your point. I really hope we'll target offensive talent! We need a first line C to replace an aging Koivu in 3-4 years max
  7. Je suis d'accord à propos de Miller. Je trouve qu'il a été surestimé l'an passé. D'après moi Biron est supérieur à Miller. Les Sabres vont s'en mordre les doigts.
  8. No1 will still be Markov. In 4 years he'll be 32. Fisher will probably be a late bloomer. He's still growing, so we will only see his real NHL potential when he'll be physically mature. I think its to early to tell how these young guy will develop. Especially in the cases of Emelin and Valentenko. It'll be hard to tell how they will adapt to the N-A style and culture. Moreover, injuries often have a role in the development. Look at JP Côté. Had he not injured his knee in the 2006 training camp, he would have played in mtl last year... Now he's way down the depth chart and will never play for the montreal canadiens (well it would be very very very surprising)
  9. I vote Lecavalier/Kovalchuk/Kovalev/Markov/Boyle/Huet Iginla/Sakic/Thornton/Phaneuf/Lidstrom/Giguere
  10. On ne doit pas perdre contre la 14 position dans l'est... :ghg:
  11. Let's vote for Kovy! Let's show him (and the media) that there are alot of Kovy fans! It would be a great way to show our appreciation of the way he plays this year and I hope a great encouragement for him! I'll vote for him, that's for sure! :hlogo:
  12. Too bad grabs is out, he played one of his best games saturday... But I must confess I prefer Bégin than Grabs on the fourth...
  13. Oups, must have skipped a paragraph Thanks CaliHabsFan
  14. Wow not a word about Wyman?? He has 9 points in 5 games this year! Timmins is very enthusiast about this 2003 100th pick. For those who can read French: http://www.cyberpresse.ca/article/20071112...5128/CPSPORTS01
  15. I'd add that Gretzky scored 97 and 90 points in the 96-97 and 97-98 seasons at age 35-36 years old! ...In the period with probably the most hooking and the least scoring. And don't say it's because he played on an NYR packed team: he was the team's scoring leader those two years. This guy is just the best offensive player in the NHL history. I agree that he hasn't proven anything as a coach or DG...
  16. I think some people feel bad for Murray because he was working very hard all the time. But the NHL is the best hockey league in the world. If you're not good enough, you're out. At least, he played some games in the NHL, a feat none of us achieved... So no need to feel bad. He worked hard, had his chance, but in the end he's just not good enough. Have a nice AHL career Garth.
  17. Mais est-ce que la ligue accepterait? Et ça ne règle pas le problème des investissements nécessaire pour construire le nouvel aréna et acheter les droits sur l'éuipe, la démarrer, etc.
