Good win for the Habs.
I've never noticed this but as of right now Ryder is sitting 9th on the list for the Habs top points getter with 14 points. He is a head of guys like Latendresse, Komisarek, Chipchura, Dandenault and Kostopulos to name a few.

Pat Hickey reports that Patrice Brisebois, Steve Bégin and Bryan Smolinski were on the ice at Canadiens' practice today.
Brisebois is the only one cleared for action. He's available for the game against Tampa Bay at the Bell Centre tomorrow but probably won't be dressed as coach Guy Carbonneau said he'd like to stick with the lineup that won two games in Florida and lost a heartbreaker to the Rangers.
Bégin will be ready in a week or two.
Smolinski says he's ready, but Carbo indicated the veteran would remain on the shelf for two to four weeks.
Cristobal Huet will make his fourth consecutive start in nets.

Spidey is just taking some time off from posting game threads on Habsworld but he still will be around posting replys and stuff like that. He is just not doing game threads right now. Cataclaw has done a wonderful job since taking over on the Game threads. I'm sure that sooner or later Spidey will start to post Game Threads again but he is just taking a break right now.
There is no need to make a come back spidey thread. Hope that answered your question.
Anyways GO HABS GO. I hope that the Habs come out firing on all cylinders.
Hockey is a really tough sport. I would think getting hit by men who are 200 pounds is pretty tough. The athaletes are definitely tougher than the athletes that play basketball.
NHL'ers do not take steroids. We arent that type of sport.
I think they should implement a rule as if you get in a fight you helmet should be taken off before the fight. It would prevent alot of injuries because i would think punching plastic may hurt a bit.
I think Kostopoulos is doing a good enough job at the goon position. He isnt susposed to be that type of player but when Montreal needs it he will be the one who will fight for us.
There wasnt much else on at the time? What about the Capital One Bowl with Michigan vs Florida. It was a great game and my team Michigan came out on top. It was also Loyd Carr's last game.
GO GLUE.
It would be interesting but then again i think the allstar game should be at the Bell Centre because the fans deserve it and so does the Building. I would be alright with doing it for a regular season game against the Sens.
I'd have to go with Hamrlik, Kovalev and Plekanec. Plekanec was good last year but i did not expect him to be one of the best habs this season. Hamrlik has fit in fine with the Habs D and Kovalev is leading the Habs in points which i did not expect.
Another name is Komi since he continues to get even better.
