That was a big hit Obyrne delivered. I loved seeing him do it. It was clean for sure. Yes the Panthers were after him and he fought both of them. It was just an unfortunate event for Obyrne. I dont think having a goon would of helped sice they were after him.

The Habs win. I still dont understand why Torterello yanked Holmqvist after three goals. He put Romo in and he got scored on twice. Then the Lightning scored and he replaced Romo with Holmqvist. That was really wierd to me especially after the lighting scored.

Detroits Nicklas Lidstrom signed a two year contract extension believed to be worth $7.45M. He took a pay cut as before he was making about $7.6M. This is a big sign for the Wings.

Well the DEC 23 curse continues. Cant say that i am surprised. You knew it was not going to be a win because that curse has been around since 1945.

But if Price wins then you look like a genious. The only thing is that it would not be fair to Huet to play 65 minutes and then have someone come in for three shots and get the win.

If hes not confident and price is it just makes complete sense to throw Price in there for Shootouts.
