LOL, I wonder how many of the "chicken littles" who predicted the sky is falling in this thread learned the phrase "it ain't over 'till it's over" tonight??? BTW [discussion] Can Carey Price play pressure games in the NHL? [/discussion] Kudos to ALL the boys for digging down deep and wanting it more!

Koivu missed his man on two goals, but ya, you've gotta cut the guy some slack being off for 3 weeks and out there with a bum ankle. He probably shouldn't be playing and if we had closed out the series in game 5 wouldn't have had to. Kudos to the captains heart. Yes he won a ton of faceoffs, but without those two missed checks it's a different game. Still, I call it a team loss all the way...some performed, some didn't...welcome to this entire season. Hopefully EVERYONE answers the bell tomorrow.

Totally ridiculous. Even if he loses (which he won't), he'll have gained valuable playoff experience for next year. All these folks that are suicidal and foaming at the mouth...would have called anyone who suggested that the Habs would finish 1st and would go 7 games in the first round this year an idiot. It's actually pretty funny to watch some of the wannabe experts and what they deem fact People really need to lower their caffeine intake and try and enjoy game 7 while CHEERING their team on.

Wammer, I couldn't agree with you more. Toronto fans amaze me at their eternal optimism, sure they get down on their team as the decades of failure mount, but always stick with them. By the same token, Leafland has more bandwagon jumpers than any city I've personally ever seen. On these Habs fan boards, EVERY loss is Armageddon and Gainey is always a buffoon to the same old simpletons. I used to let it get to me, now I just laugh at these dullards. This kills me to even say this, but some of the fair weather fans on this board could actually learn something from the true Leaf diehard fans! -

Spare me, that overtime winner was payback for the selfish penalty he took to give the bruins overtime. Kovy was great in the regular season, no argument...but once again when the pressure is on he's nowhere to be seen. I hope he proves me very wrong tomorrow night, I really do...but his history of quiting and sandbagging precedes him...prove me wrong Kovy, prove me wrong. And yes, I clearly must be stupid arguing with a single celled amoeba like you  BTW, I never pointed any fingers, I suggested you look at your boy after you unreasonably lambasted the 20 year old rookie Einstein -

So, you're blind and deaf? Price has flat out stolen two wins for us...there's really no arguing it. I saw it, everyone here saw it, the media was gushing about it. Fact is without Price's play the first 4 games, game 5 & 6 wouldn't even be available for discussion. He had a minor rookie meltdown in game 5...the team should have stepped up and made it right for him, instead they ran and hid. If you need something to be embarrassed over look no further than yourself blaming a rookie goalie that got us this far and will still likely get a team that doesn't deserve it in to the next round. I left this board for a month for brutal so called fans like you, I can't even believe the shit you're spewing with 1 game to go and a 50/50 chance of advancing. Christ, fair weather Habs fans like you (and the other 75% that make up these wailing walls you call fan boards make me puke). Want someone to pin it on? Look no further than the softie, quitter in your name. Number 27 and his followers are proving once again that because there's no money in the playoffs, and lots of hitting...they want to take their puck and go home -

You've got it. We've been outplayed in 5 games but we still can win the series with one win. Seriously, how many of you guys would have jumped at that offer at the start of the season. Give the team credit, they ain't boring -
CLASSIC!!!

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree...I've never said FU Habs and would never even consider it...it's a young team, ups and downs have happened all season, some loyalty and faith would be refreshing. Imagine if you're married, saying FU wife, let me know how long you stay married. Over the top and kinda childish IMO.

What do we need to do for next year?

Excellent post! I'll join you in the self ban and come back after we win and watch the same doom and gloomers tell us what a great team this is. Nice weather we're having...well, fair weather any way  -
You know, I'm pissed but sorry guy, that's over the top. This game sucked, but we still have game 7 at home...too many of you have already awarded the series to Boston (probably the same ones who awarded it to the Habs when it was 3-1 )...have a little faith, if not faith, hope, if not faith or hope at least wait until the series is over to start saying FU Habs Some times I think a lot of the users on these "Fan" forums should look up the meaning of "FAN". It's ok to be upset at a loss, especially one like that...but to post FU Habs 2 hours after the game ended?!?!

This series should already have been won by the Bruins IMO. Price stole games 2 & 4. With the exception of game 1, the Habs haven't deserved a win...let's hope either Price has one more steal left or maybe the team, and this is plain crazy, goes out and wins one for him!!! -

Yep, it's boring, uneducated and loaded with bigotry...not unlike poor old Don (who oddly enough I still like despite his faults). -

I really hope a team with a Euro captain wins the cup this year to put the "Europeans can't play in the playoffs" stupidity to bed once and for all. -

Lots of people will blame Price for a few of those goals, but those that know hockey will understand that it's not fair to blame the goalie when he's hung out to dry with cross ice passes and guys with 20 seconds unmolested in front of him. Completely gutless team effort and people who are blaming Price are taking the easy way out. -

I feel like puking. That you can let a ball hockey goalie like Thomas win a game like that is disgusting. I'm ashamed to be a Habs fan right now, that may be the softest period I've seen a Habs team play in my 5 decades of being a fan. And what the f*** are these guys doing trying to sit on 1 goal leads?!?! Did they learn nothing last game?!?! Kovy is my obvious choice for goat...he looked disturbingly like last years Kovy tonight. All will be forgiven if he leads us to victory next game, but I'm worried. Geezus, I hope these guys remember their hearts for game 7!!! If we win in 7 this series will be nothing more than experience...let's hope for GOOD experience!!! -
Great game so far!!! Habs are scoring a goal every beer I open...it's gonna be a loooonnng playoffs for them and me Who's the tool doing play by play fo CBC? Is that Bob Cole? So far my favorites are "The Goalie" (like Thomas and Price are tough names to remember) and who can forget good old Andrei Kotsopolus
