Sounds like (according to EK so don't hold your breath...) that the Habs might try to get O'Sullivan from the Kings. I think it would be a great trade if we could get rid of a couple role players and a prospect. Then we sign Selenne????? Say... Begin, Dandy, and a prospect/pick. Imagine... Gotta disagree... sorry. It's Sundin or bust! I wouldn't mind seeing a trade involvng a coupe role players and a prospect for a good two way player (Patrick O'Sullivan from the Kings is a rumor??)... That might clear up some more cap space and let our players know who is going to be in the lineup. As far as Fedorov, I think S.Kost will be fine on the point on the PP or even Kovalev and have Tanguay up front. By making a trade with more $$ going back the other way, it might free up enough to (dreaming) get Selenne and Sundin!!! CheerS!

Just looking over the depth chart, man it's going to be tough to tell some players they'll be in the press box... Here's how I like it, but I'm sure it'll get criticized!!! Tanguay - Koivu - S.Kost Kovalev - Pleks - A.Kost Latendresse - Higgins - Laraque Begin - Chipchura - Lapierre/Kostopolous Higgins at Centre is kind of scary but that line would be fun to watch. I def see a trade coming. Maybe Chips or Laps with some other prospect.

Couldn't agree more. Rolston at that price over 4 years would suck. Sign Sundin to the max this year, and go and bring Stanley home.

Hopefully the Habs dont throw money at Hossa. Anything over 6 mill a year is ridiculous, so to hear he is going to get 9... man I hope Gainey stays away form that. Rolston would be a sweet addition but my heart still hopes for Sundin. IF we cant get them at forward then maybe sign a DMan (Cams or Redden) just to be deep and extremely hard to play against. Just my two cents...

PLEASE put Ryder back in. PLEASE! I will personally guarentee a goal from Ryder if he plays!!! Again, the Habs lineup does not reflect the one that got them to the top of the East. And it has to be Price. HAS TO BE. This kid is amazing, and yes he had a bad game, but he'll shut the lights out!

Ok, so I know they won't be the "saviors" or anything, but we really need to get back to having the Habs kind of lineup. Yes, I am talking about Ryder and Latendresse. What it does is create matchup problems for the Flyers. Honestly, is there defence really concerned when Dandy and Laps and Streit come across the blueline... NO. I think Ryder and Lats should both play, sit Dandy and either Streit or Lapierre. Don't get me wrong, I love Laps and Streit, but it seems like a better match up to have our scorers out there against a slow Philly defence. (Maybe even put Streit on the blueline...) Something like this... Higgins - Koivu - Kovalev Kosty - Pleks - Kosty Ryder - Laps or Grabovski - Latendresse Begin - Smoke - Kostop Markov- Komisarek Hamrlik - Streit Gorges - Boullion Not only would the boys be fresh, but I think it creates matchup problems for the Flyers. I am PRAYING that he leaves Kovy with Koivu and Higgins. They were awesome. And the Brothers play better together, like they keep trying to one up the other, there laughing on the bench together. definitely leave them with Pleks. The big thing with Game 7 is it seemed like the players were enjoying themselves, even before they got the huge lead. THe bench was full of smiles and laughs and emotion, which is good in the playoffs. If the players are enjoying themselves, let them. We need Ryder and Lats back though cause Philly is a team they can get going on!

I was thinking, wouldn't it be beneficial if Carbs came out tonight and said who was playing tomorrow. That way, players could get some sleep knowing if they will be in or not. I'm sure waiting til the last minute to know if you are playing has to be nerve racking. And another thing, if Markov is hurt why not sit him? I know when he is not injured he is an All-Star, but if his injuries are causing poor play, then let him rest. Put Boullion or OByrne on the line with Komisarek. I think I figured it out... Each home game brings in mllions of dollars for a team, so the Habs KNOW they can dominate the Bruins and just let them win to make extra money for the owner. They will absolutely DOMINATE the Bruins in Game 7. It was all about money. Now the real Habs show up and WIN. Kovalev gets a hatty!
