  1. cunneyworth thought a big shake-up would do some good and it blew up on him like a pearl necklace
  2. sitting subban and eller backfires what a suprise that really woke the team up
  3. how dare you score a goal louis, take a seat on the bench
  4. If i was the GM I'd tell JM to start trying to win some games in regulation instead of sitting back and playing for the losing point, it doesn't work in our favor. Leading the league in overtime or shootout losses is nothing to be proud of.
  5. We can only hope that boston was just a bad fit. Carolina has been terrible altogether. And stats from both are a small sample. Kaberle is a helluva passer. hopefully subban can get his shot in order. And if Markov even comes back, how long before he's injured again. His knee may just be unhealable. I do hate the cap hit but this move definitely adds talent to the roster, and it will certainly be interesting to watch it play out.
  6. highlight reel passing and shot. Leblanc grabs his first big league point
  7. At least another 3 weeks for Markov http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=381880
  8. My point being eller deserves a fair shake. Which I don't believe he is getting. The offense isn't there and he has shown flashes of pure talent in his limited role. whether it be desharnias, gionta, cammi, cole, kostitsyn it doesn't matter he deserves a shot. i guess we had one line firing last night, but how long will it last. Martin will break that up in no time, and eller will still be waiting for a chance.
  9. I guess I'm beating a dead horse but with kostitsyn and gomez having been out for extended periods so far this season, either eller or desharnais should have been playing the wing in order to utilize the talent. Also with those two injuries and pleks on the point on the pp, eller should have been getting his opportunity.
  10. Eller has shown that he has talent. As far as I'm concerned his production is being limited by JM. He averages more ice time than only blunden, enquist, palushaj, noko, darche (somehow), st.denis, leblanc, and campoli (injury shortened game) His PP average per game is 34 seconds. That's third unit pp time and bottom 3rd line TOI Although he does get some minutes with top players how can he be expected to put up consistent #'s.
  11. Well my first post here appears to have been deleted, apparently I went I went about it the wrong way. But Ron MacLean dumb? Back it up with more than your perception of one article. As for the rest of CBC. You know what your getting from Cherry and what do you expect from Milbury. He was either Wang's puppet, or the absolute worst GM in hockey history. If you continue to watch, their commentary during intermission serves it's purpose. Ratings are all that matters.
  12. Unbelievable. I understand intent is difficult to prove, and I know everyone has seen the replay a thousand times. - Chara, knowing he's beat takes his hand off his stick and tries to slow Pacs down. (Holding) - When that doesn't work he pushes him into the boards. (Interference) - Then he continues to follow through pushing his head into the stanchion. (Head Shot) I know it happens fast but how could Murphy possibly call that a hockey play. "This was a hockey play that resulted in an injury because of the player colliding with the stanchion and then the ice surface. In reviewing this play, I also took into consideration that Chara has not been involved in a supplemental discipline incident during his 13-year NHL career." Apparentley everyone gets a freebee, maybe we should seek retribution.
  13. It may as well been a blindside hit b/c there is no reason for Pacs to prepare himself for that, it was a late hit. However I do find it hard to believe Chara intended to do that kind of damage.
  14. Chara knew he was beat, reminds me of McLaren's hit on Zednik.
