And the beer? One difference I believe is in our laws re. assault. If I am not mistaken, in your country a person has to bring charges of assault against an assailant where as here the cops can lay the charge without a complaint being filed. I feel a great country would come into being if our 2 married and took the best of our 2 sets of laws, of course we'd have to agree that hockey was our national sport and call it the United states of canada... :can:

I also spent lots of time in the states working and found quite a few decent americans, one on one, it is when they get together that they tend to show the my country right or wrong mentallity. If you know your history you will be able to relate alot of what is going on in the usa to the great empires of rome, germany and britain the belief that they have the moral obligation to police the world. It never came to pass as the Yanks were still wiping thier wounds from the butt kicking of 1812 when a bunch of drunk canucks sacked washington and burnt down the white house, got bored and went home. Was his intent to mame? I don't think so. Was it something that would have happened out of the sports rink? I don't think so. I believe he should face heavy disciplinary actions from the league, but really wish that the BC law enforcers would keep their nose out of it. I am a strong believer that the law enforcers shouldn't be the people to bring assault charges, this should be done by the assaulted parted. But hey, if you saw the man hater they brought on tv yesterday from bc's finest you know there will be charges brought. I am sure Moore wouldn't want this, same as Brasher in his incident. What i,ve been noticing , which 1st became evident in the calgary game back a bit, is that we are winning the battles along the boards, and this is where most games are won. If more often than not you come out of the corners with the puck you tend to win the game, or so I was taught. :hlogo::-^:hlogo:

Yes it was a sucker punch, but how does that differ from Stevens blind siding guys with their heads down. He knew Bertuzzi was about to hit him, watch the replay, he just didn't want a part of it as he had been beat on already and undoubtably had sore hands. The punch was minor if you watch, the damage was done when he hit the ice. By the way, The Rocket got one game for his stick swinging (actually breaking it over a head) and think about how pissed we all were about that. Let it go and let the players sort it out themselves, that is hockey and if you can't deal with it go play baseball. :devil:

It makes it more fun when they get "upset" in the first round. :/):/) Hey, I just checked their schedule, Florida , Washington before us on Saturday, then they close out the season with 10 games they could easily lose, I say in their final 13 they go 2-11-0-0 beating only Washington and Atlanta.
