  1. Streit is great at: The break out pass Shot from the point Streit struggles when being pressured, on the point or in the defensive zone. Remember that he is paired with Bouillon. He doesn't have that defensive specialist that the top two lines do. Pair him with Hamrlik and you will think he is great.
  2. This is going to be a tough game. Team defense is so important tonight and Komi is going to have to be brutal on the boards.
  3. Those two goals were not Huet's fault but he doesn't look right. Call it shaky, call it whatever you want but he looks out to lunch tonight.
  4. Look at Kovy skate and fight for the puck. What a change in him this year.
  5. I would say that after 20 games Chara would be suspended or in jail for a long time and half of our team would be in the hospital!
  6. First period Bruins 20 - Habs 15 shots on goal. End of game, Habs 52 Bruins 36. WOW :hlogo:
  7. What an ugly end to the game. Boston are nothing but bitches and Chara is the leader - what a tool. Price has played better (no I'm not on his case). We played hard and I'm happy.
  8. I don't usually complain about the refs but tonight is awful. We deserve to win this game.
  9. That penalty on Koivu was a dive, complete nonsense. Begin is really getting under Chara's skin, I love it. I didn't like the interview with Muller. Talking about slowing the game down and not wanting to play firewagon hockey...I think we would fare well playing firewagon hockey with the Bruins. :hlogo:
  10. What a pace to this game so far, WOW. I'm happy that our boys are skating hard and it looks like they are certainly interested tonight.
  11. I have been spoiled with CBC and TSN HD broadcasts, RDS looks like shit!
  12. Hmmmmmm There must be more to this than meets the eye. It should also squash all the rumours of Raycroft being dealt to .........
  13. I think it is a combination of a balls to the wall forecheck and huge forwards. They just don't stop, they keep coming and coming and coming. The only way to counter that is with quality breakout passes and speed, speed and more speed.
  14. Very true. Kovalev was really playing hard tonight. He is a very important piece of our team.
  15. I think it is Chris who says that we tend to play down to our opponents instead of playing our own game regardless of who we play. I think I am buying in to that theory.
  16. Markov definitely gets a pass. I didn't intend to place blame on him at all. The guy is a monster and I love him. I was just commenting on how strange it was to see him so off his game.
  17. Markov was unusually rattled tonight too. I have never seen him like it before. He looked angry all game long! I don't know why but it was kind of amusing to me. The poor guy is always a rock!
  18. I can't believe I just saw Komisarek strip the puck at the blueline, skate like the wind down ice, put a little move on Raycroft and score...Even though I am very angry because of the poor play tonight, I have the largest shit eating grin on my face. I haven't screamed, "YEEEAAAAHHHHH" that loud in a long time.
  19. We are fortunate to be tied 2-2. One of the worst periods of the year. There is lots of blame to go around but during games like this the usual suspects tend to bother me even more than usual. :puke:
  20. It is nothing specific, just the way they analyze hockey. The leaf homerizm is like TSN's to the fourteenth power. Watch hockey central sometime and you will understand!
  21. The in between period commentary is nothing short of laughable. Waters and Kypreos are just F-ed. How this channel is still on the air competing for viewers is beyond me.
  22. Yes, yes and yes. Please, please, please! Carbo has more faith in him than we do though. I noticed he was on the PK during the leaf's last PP. Price has played some good hockey but he is incredible tonight. That flurry of saves was something special.
