Isnt Sidney Crosby a small talented player like Balej and those others that u say wont make it?
I bet if we get Crosby he will become the new Alexandre Daigle. Wouldnt be too happy about that

I read in a NHL-book from 95-96 that the highest paid player were Wayne Gretzky with a salary of 45.100.000 swedish crowns which at that time would be about 4.4 million us dollars... to compare with todays 10M$ salaries. Thats not the 80s... its the late 90s.
The even cooler thing is that the 10th most paid player was Alexander Mogilny with 2.5M$ to compare with what we pay average players today. He was a BIG STAR at that time.

the cool thing is that the swedes almost made it to the finals without players like Mats Sundin, Peter Forsberg, Markus Näslund, Niklas Lidström.
Im happy with their performance. It shows that the swedes is right up there with the other nations TOP teams only using the B-squad :king:

sorry... bouillon got 2 goals and 9 assists in 9 games... he scored 2 goals in the 10th and last game last night..

btw. Leksand made it to the eliteleague.
Bouillon was the best defenceman in the 10game long kvalserien league. I think he got 2 goals and 9 assists.

Read in a region-newspaper (falu-kuriren) that Leksand (Michael Ryder and Francis Bouillon) have shown interest in Ribs for next season in case of longer lockout (I think NHL will start though but who knows?).
I would love that. Sorry Mora IK but Leksand is my classic favourite team until they fell out of elite league so Leksand with a bunch of habs-players... easy pick.

I read in Aftonbladet that Peter Forsberg wants the NHL to begin next year so he can return.
Peter aint quitting yet... but he looks more and more like Eric Lindros.

Sportbladet are stupid. They dont know anythink about the NHL. They didnt even know that Sourays last name was Souray... they thought his full name was Souray Sheldon for a week.
Then the big question is if they know anything at all about hockey.
Theo played a good game in net. Better than Kiprusoff.

Theo was not that good but he did his job.
Timrå played really bad and Theo didnt really have to make any big saves and the goals he let by was the only good chances Timrå had in the game
Djurgården played a superb game defensively.

I have to ask you other swedes here... will Ryder and Bouillon play in Leksand all this season or do they have that contract type that will see them go back to america soon?
Hopefully Leksand makes it back to the top league.

I cheer for Theo in the playoffs..
But somehow im beginning to hate Souray... He is whining about everything in the games ive seen him.
Its all Färjestad's fault. Why didnt Souray go to Finland or something.

I think a big problem is that some players get WAAAY to much money after only playing one good year.
I cant think of someone right now but some players get to play with superstars like Forsberg, Lemieux and get alot more points becaus of it. I bet even I might be able to score a goal if i played a season with Lemieux
but am I worth a million dollar contract becaus of it?I am also kind of hoping that a few teams will dissapear during this lockout. 24-26 team nhl would be better I think.

Linköping fired Christian Huselius and Henrik Tallinder becaus of the rape-incident before sweden hockey games. The rape-accusation was dropped. Andreas Lilja wont play any more games this season but if the next season is also locked out he might return to Mora.

this jersey is one of the best looking jerseys in sweden.
but I HATE adds on jerseys but they look alot better now than 10 years ago. MODO's jerseys had a little logo on the shoulder and a BIG UGLY add in the mittle.
