Better not to play him. After waiting to sign that contract its better for him to come back at 100% as to not under-perform for his teammates or get the media all in his face.

I was very optimistic heading into the season for a few reasons. One we lost a lot of close games last year. A lot. This is easily reversed by more depth. Something we achieved with Prust, Armstrong, Bouillion, and the prospect of rookies. Think who we had in the lineup some nights... Palushaj, St Dennis... freaking Ian Schultz was called up for gods sake... yes he didn't play but the fact he went from NHL call up to mediocre ECHL is a signal to how bad our depth was when injuries struck. My thought was with the added depth we would be back in the hunt for 8th. I also expected top line to fall back a bit, but a better season from Gio and Pleks would counter balance that and we would still be in the battle for a playoff spot between 8-6. Depending on how healthy we are. My ONE concern, not that I want to jinx anything, is that Price can't get hurt. Plain and simple he just can't. If he does we go down in a burning heap.

Agreed. I'm tired of other fans shitting on this team... I really believe we have a solid line up here. I'm also tired of the flack from Leafs fans who finished an entire 2 points ahead of us last season and feel all high and mighty

Yeah this panic is silly. third game in four nights... our production is coming from young players and pp both of which would be the first to get sloppy with a heavy schedule and we had our back up in net. Also had our best forward last season out of the line up and still didn't have last season's top minute d-man. So... I think this lose was 1 expected and 2 nothing too worry about. We have started the season 4-2-0. Yes those two loses were bad loses... but this is still a solid start. Edit: We are beating the weaker teams while the team is learning a new system and meshing with new teammates, Prust, Armstrong, Gally, Chuckie, Bouillion, and honestly Markov who most of the team hasn't played with more then a handful of games. Add in the return of PK and we should give a few more games till we have cohesion in our line up.

Markov said he didn't want to talk about anything not related to the games, Gorges said its good that they can focus on hockey now, Cole said it was good, Eller and DD said he was a great hockey player. They were probably told to not talk about it and therefore didn't talk about it.

99% sure he is gone. Bourque has been playing well lately so I'm not sure we would want to ditch him, but Weber will probably be the one traded... though not for much.
