Yes, both games were back to back matinees.... Penguins and Bruins, where he played on the "Bulldog line" with Desharnais and White. It was Superbowl Weekend 2010. They were amazing against Pittsburgh. Not good, but not bad against boston, but after that we started to get healthy and he went back to Hamilton.
So its not that he hasn't produced at the nhl level but we just havn't made the room for him... interesting.

I assume with Markov's injury history so far management will be cautious about when he returns. I wouldn't be surprised if it was December.
I'm less concerned about when he plays, more interested in how long he's around for.
Or how he plays when he is back... come to think of it, what hasn't been much discussed is if he be the same caliber or similar to it when he comes back?
Does anyone have info on other players who have had this injury or sequence of and how they did when they came back?

loving that guys potential in the positioning department

Ottawa Receives
Eric Cantin (Con:85)
Philadelphia Receives
2017 3rd round pick (VAN) (that Ottawa acquired in the Maxwell trade.)
2018 4th round pick (OTT)
Ottawa needed another nhl quality d-man in case of injuries.
Cantin is young, consistent, solid defensively and cheap, he was perfect to fill the role.

I have had three mid terms this week and I made a bevy of trades, signed all my nhl'ers, neglected my minor team a bit ill be honest, but I also am learning the game at the same time...
He could always just lose some picks in the upcoming draft... or something along those lines. Automatically set as the last pick?
-
I really didn't pay attention to my farm team when I let this guy go whoops. Focused so much on Ottawa I forgot about my minor team.

Oh haha okay
I thought that there hadn't been one

Tomas Jurco
Oh, he was a first round pick wasn't he... I only came in during the 4th round
Missed that

Ottawa, you already had a physio for your pro and farm team and they were both better than the guy you wanted to sign.
I didn't know i had an ahl guy thanks

To Ottawa
2017 2nd round pick (VAN)
2017 3rd round pick (VAN)
To Vancouver
Ben Maxwell (CON 65)
Ottawa likes this because I had to a few spare forwards and was having a hard time fitting Maxwell into my line scheme.
I also may need to be trading another pick and do not have a 1st rounder this year and only players from this years draft in my prospect pool (Ottawa had no first in the last draft either).

Now the kids really have to play like they did in the last game. They can do it. Man, our defense is good once Markov and co. get back.
Markov - Emelin
PK - Gill
Georges - Campoli
Diaz - Spacek
Weber 4th line D reserve PP specialist
I know I love our d, when markov comes back we are going to tear up!

based on the 09-10 season, and the first game of this season, Brock Trotter is on pace for 300 points in Hamilton this year.
Wouldn't that be so random if he just got 300 points haha
-
anyone else hear Stephen Harper at the Jets game talking about the logo?
I think it looks an awful lot like an F-35 fighter.. but maybe I'm reading too much into it..
hahaha so true

He's lost Kassian and Plante but gained Glennie and Cuma. Plus a good veteran in Pineault and decent stop gap in Zubov.
Exactly. I wanted more offense. Cuma and Plante roughly balance out (Cuma is a year younger and is way less costly in the pim department). Plus I really needed offense, Glennie fit that bill, Zubov will add more depth and Pineault is a defensive player I could use on a neutral trap line.
Made my d younger and added some much needed offense, replaced the picks I traded (+a fourth). I don't regret it.
Not to mention he threw in a 3rd round pick after I had already posted it because he thought it wasn't even enough

7 goals 2 assists in 4 games played. Guess he was jealous of Bournival's gaudy numbers.
WELL looks like we have a nice little pipe line of junior players
-
Why are we continuing to take young core players from newbs? Its no wonder we have like 10 GMs in this league.
What trade looks bad in your eyes?

Eller is back Thats good news

And, a quick interview on how things played out with the Habs: http://www.csnphilly...148&feedID=6572
Too bad this didn't happen, he looked like he was ready to help us out
-
Didn't realize you've posted this already. I do still want this deal, but I wanted to add CBJ's next 3rd as compensation I forgot Zubov had such low con. So yeah, don't thing bbp will have an issue with that.
CBJ needs d-men like mad and have lots of good young forwards making their way up. Deal just makes too much sense.
Re approved and added. Thanks for the honest dealing there

Halfway through the 2nd, Gallagher has 2 goals and 2 assists (+4) plus a pair of PIMS. Not bad considering it's a 4-0 game.
Wow... he is going too destroy the WHL this year
