Seems some of you are confusing Canada with the USA. That's the slippery slope.
The fact Canada and the states can be confused is a huge problem...

As long as Markov comes back towards the end I am happy, there isn't a way we will miss the playoffs even without Markov, we got better. He is the key too really put us without question in the top quarter of the league.

That being said, I like the look of this logo. And it's not like calling your team the Canadiens, Canucks, Maple Leafs, or Senators is much better. Too nationalistic for my taste.
Nothing is wrong with a little pride in your nation, nationalism can be taken too far especially when military is brought into it... but pride in ones nation and culture is great by my standards, I think it is needed. Canada is a great nation. No harm in being proud. I feel good knowing I am Canadian.

#9 is my favourite play from last season.
Was sitting in the Bell Centre with my girlfriend when it happened.
She had a crush on Juda$arek, until he left for the Leafs, then she wanted to kill him.... when he made that pass to Cammalleri it was glorious.

They don't give up, they're vocal on the ice and they seem to bond really well in the locker room (i'm speculating from what I've seen on video screens and on the ice).
Less than 24 hours away!!!! I can't wait, well I can and I will... yet omg hockey is finally here... in 24 hours!
They don't give up which is why we are going too be a handful this season, deep and competitive with hard core fans.
I'm giddy for the start of the season!!!

Too true! I think the Habs will be a good team this year but, in order to get over the hump into the elite class, they need Markov. Hopefully for Montreal's sake he's not out of the lineup too long!
We have done really well without him too this point, with him and Cole and the development of our younger players I think this is the best habs line up in a long long long time.

A bunch of players coming of season ending injuries, Max, Markov, Georges...
Young players who want too prove that they are elites, Eller, Max again, DD...
New players from overseas eager too fight against against the "adjustment time"... Yemelin and Diaz...
Reliable leaders, Gionta and Cammalleri
An awesome goalie in Price...
A coach who seems too do stuff right judging by playoff results... but people still insist on questioning him...
Oh... and PK in general

Really glad to see him here... Like I said in the first post, he's everything we need.
Well, everything with one exception, it'd be nice if he was a RH shot... but hey, even as a lefty with Engqvist a righty, i still think Betts is a huge upgrade.

What does Engqvist does to stay there ? Can he play good penalty killing ?
Can he win faceoffs ? Hopefully Eller is back soon but even then Desharnais
is not a 4th liner grinder, but he can both play PK and PP.
We really do have an odd situation at center won't we when Eller comes back

Exactly.
Simmers have free will to select no if they can't find someone either so you're liable to lose whoever you don't list. It's all about making things easier for the simmer, they don't need to hunt things down for lazy GMs.
Especially with this sim, which I've heard from Brian that its really tedious it would be nice too help out whoever volunteered for the job

Yeah it is really too close too call there. If Malone had made contact like a moment later it would have been completely clean.

Yeah... We really do not have too worry about bottom pairing depth
Diaz, Weber, Yemelin, Spacek can all be the bottom pairing... and we still don't have markov yet haha Campoli will be added too the bottom pairing list then too, Woy wouldn't have ever played this season with the habs
