Funny when RDS can do in-game interviews in ENGLISH (well the english speaking players/coaches) yet there HAS to be a bilingual coach............................. Limiting this option, fans/media need to decide wether their OK with an average coached team with a coach who's bilingual or go out on a limb and HIRE the BEST (winning record etc) coach available regardless of his ability to speak french I think if Roy gets the gig I'll throw up...haven't we had enough of these "rookie" coaches/GM's in over their heads but able to speak to the media........

I HATE our "dump and change" (as I've stated in several threads) Hockey's a puck possession game, and why do we have to continually give up that possession just because we're changing guys? Then the "fresh" guys have to try to get the puck BACK (that we've just given up) wasting time and energy........................

Where would the backlash come from if the next coach was an anglo? Media? They rant/rave about every little thing now, so what's once more? Fans? I for one am a fan of winning, so IMO they wouldn't stop going buying tickets and merch. Sponsors? Not sure, but once again they probably like a winner too........ Mtl reminds me of Dog River, Gus the local paper (media) dramatic with dramatic headlines Oscar (locals) flying off the handle at any little change . ( I know I know we were a game away blah blah blah, he can only work with what he has blah blah blah) Yet I don't see any real improvement, or a coach who can adapt to today's game hell, even making adjustment during a game (like other coachs seem to be able to do) Until they get rid of the bilinugal prerequisite, were stuck. I don't pretend to know how the media etc work (and if most of the pressure comes from outside forces) Does none of the media speak/understand english at all? I think Caryle would be a good fit but hey until he (and other good candidates) can learn french we're missing out on GOOD candidates who have PROVEN records on ice.

I've heard of the "dump and chase" by WHY does JM continually practice a "dump and CHANGE" gameplan? When we have the puck why not wait until a change is made then pass off to a fresh player? Why must we contunually gain the redline dump it in and change giving up possession. So the fresh guys have to now try to get possession back (wasting time and energy in the process) before even getting a scoring chance....... Then we do it all over again, THIS ticks me off since I don't see other teams doing this......

IMO the problem wasn't with our D (as a group), but our overall setup in our end.....guys (forwards) not picking up the extra man coming in etc.... And once again, (from what I saw in the 3rd) we looked like we were playing for a tie (even though we were down 2)

From the NHL website the article title reads : "Shanahan cites lack of intent in not suspending Lucic " So now he's judging intent? (get outta my head Shanny) How can you do that? Did Lucic break down and start crying and stating his intent? Seems EVERY other suspension (to date) the player pleaded their innocence and it wasn't their "intent" to hit/elbow/run the player............

How long before we see the "flying V" employed..........
