  1. I don't think we'll see too many more + tests..........His was done a while ago by the IOC.[and the NHL knew of the results!] The NHL has JUST started testing; allowing those who were on something to get it out of their systems BEFORE the NHL starts testing. If the NHL wanted to address this issue, they would start testing during training camps, when players are going through their teams fitness testing. Then test 2-3 more times at random per team.........
  2. Just wondering WHY the "report" is coming from an Ottawa paper???? I know the press in Montreal can be relenless; so IF there was any truth to the "rumor" one would think it would be coming from a local paper. Maybe this is just something a reporter in Ottawa wrote since it was a slow news day in SENS-land...........
  3. To date that might be the "goal of the year" but, I'm waiting till game 7 (OT) of the cup finals.....whoever (from the HABS ) scores it would get my vote..
  4. Looking at the shot totals for the last 2 games, looks like it happened vs. the Sharks as well. Granted we were up 6-1, but in the new NHL is a 5 goal lead safe VS Sharks Habs 1) 6 6 2) 8 14 3) 11 6 VS Stars Habs 1) 10 6 2) 10 7 3) 17 2 Any maybe playing without Markov bumped up the Stars totals; but we only got 2 shots ourselves....And with the "crackdown" on penalties; a couple Stars PP's and their back in the game....
  5. They ALL better, or they'll be gone, or in Hamilton!
  6. I watching NBC, but it's Boston-Dallas........with Chris Cuthbert (sp) doing the play by play (which is OK) But whoever is the color man won't shut up..............the play keeps going on and he keeps yapping. Then they have Cammi Granato (sp?) down near ice level with her "commentary" if you can call it that. She should stick to playing hockey..........
  7. I'm a Wolves season ticket holder, and I'm in Section 15 as well; row H I'm always wearing a Wolves jersey/sweater and my "wolf" hat....
  8. 2 reasons we lost: 1) BONK 2) SUNSTROM..................Even I could hit an empty net in that close!
  9. Maybe Huet is being showcased? And they plan on bring Danis back up as the backup?
  10. I posted this in the Huet thread; before this one was posted. So I'll say it again; Note to Canadiens: SHOOT THE PUCK! Colorado's goaltending has been their weakness all year; David Aebischer GAA 3.19 SV%.895 Peter Budaj GAA 2.80 SV%.899 Vitaliy Kolesnik GAA 3.29 SV%.887

  12. What about Mogiliny(NJ) he's been placed on waivers......How much cap space do we have left? Mogilny is currently making 3.5 Mil
  13. Saku is out, pulled groin (http://tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=145260&hubname=nhl) [Edited on 2005/12/1 by kenadian]
  14. Nope Komisarek is playing instead of your Streit. souray and streit don't play, who's #6?? It might have been #26 Dagenais; he's only had 2 shifts, and Streit IS listed on the online gamesheet, but hasn't had any shifts. I missed the start, and I'm watching it on RDS(and don't speak french) So I don't know if he was a scratch, or is sitting on the bench and the coaching staff is sending him a message...........
  15. Anyone know what their going to do with all those #12 jersey's? Will they be auctioning them off?
  16. Yes, I know there carrying all regular season games; that's why I got RDS. I was asking about the EX. games.................
  17. and just want to know if they'll be showing the rest of the ex. games... I know RDS is showing all Montreal's REGULAR season games; that's why I was asking about the EX. GAMES......... [Edited on 2005/9/21 by kenadian]
  18. 27-Jun-04: Montreal Canadiens traded Stephane Quintal to the Los Angeles Kings for future considerations. [from TSN] http://tsn.ca/nhl/teams/player_bio.asp?pla...=185&hubName=LA I guess there go our "future considerations."
  19. http://tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?ID=134249&hubName=nhl Ooops.....just noticed another thread was started on his signing. [Edited on 2005/8/22 by kenadian]
  20. Maybe that's a factor in why Gainey picked Price with the #5 pick? With the "reduced" goalie equipment on the way, ALL NHL goalie will need an adjustment period.....Some will adapt, some won't. With Price still in Junior, and the smaller equipment coming next year, it will give him time to adjust(at the Jr. level, against Jr. players) and not have to be thrown in the fire with smaller equipment facing NHL snipers.
  21. Being in Sudbury and a season ticket holder Pouliot would be nice at #5. BUT I think he'll go #3 overall behind Crosby and Johnson........... Kopitar is a bit of a mystery, I wouldn't take him if he was available at #5 I would go with Brule,.........yes he's on the "small" size, but plays big. And with the new rules in place for the upcoming year, he'll have lots of room. I've seen Ryan a few times, and wasn't too impressed with him. Why would we need more D? What about our 2 big guys in Hainsey and Komesarick(sp) are they not in the Habs future? Overall our defensive play was good, we need help putting the puck in the net.
  22. There will be a game 5 if; We play like we did last game(for the 1st half of the game) Hit anything that moves...... Get on St. Louis and Lecavalier.........stick to 'em(and stick 'em:-^) Vinny can't score from the penalty box(hope not anyway) TRAFFIC!!!! get in front, beside behind Crappybulin......... Don't hand them the game, come out STRONG in the 3rd! Especially the last few minutes(when were up)....... Wow 3 post in 1 day, I'm on my way......
  23. I hope they bring both those guys up. And Hainsey.................:hlogo: Get rid of Juneau, Bouillon, and Sundstrom as well......... We need to get the guys down on the farm up here......
