  1. Hensick seems to be a good signing so far.
  2. Hey get one back and not over yet 1-3
  3. bit of trend for both Swedes eh (one good, one not so much)
  4. Maggio used to battle Tinordi last year, good to see Nevins take him on again.
  5. Yes he looks much better so far and throwing his weight around. Basically outshootin them 2:1 so likely bang one home soon.
  6. maybe they have turned the corner and floodgates ready to open??
  7. don't bother with fantasy stuff; but, you could be correct and might be smarter to bank as many points as you can, early in season, while still mostly have a healthy roster?
  8. Cool, hope Hudon is a standout and Hamilton can score a few goals. (don't listen to dlbalr and you can simply cheer for the Dogs)
  9. Nice observation by Engels: "3) Maybe P.K. Subban likes it more than other players do, but when you see him out and about around town, it's fantastic to see how gracious he is with every single person that approaches him for a picture, or a high-five, or a conversation. Observing from another table at a local eatery, I see Subban interrupted at least 10 times while he's trying to have dinner. He stands up to greet everyone who comes up to him. On my way out, I tell him that--not that I'd expect different--it's very nice to see the way he treats everyone. And he retorts: "I don't just work here, I live here." You can say whatever you want about Subban being attracted to the bright lights, but everyone needs their personal space; everyone wants to take the time to enjoy their dinner with the company they've chosen. You hope that grace he treats everyone with never fades, and while you expect it to with many other superstars, it's hard to imagine with Subban. He really gets it."
  10. Just too bad Habs, Hamilton and London Knights all play same time today, would be nice to see the big galoot McCarron play a game.
  11. You do realize it takes a bit more out of a goalie than skaters to play a game. But why would you really care if he plays both or not? Just to test Price or something? Pretty sure most of starts are planed out ahead of time and why would they change? In 1st place, not desperate for wins and with 4+months left in season to play.
  12. Maybe he simply pissed off wrong person, is gay, or who the heck knows? But politics can play a big factor in Canadian and USA national team selection also. Just hope he is back soon, keeps leading Everett and improving.
  13. Why does it matter? Shouldn't a crap team like Sabres be prime for a back-up to play against?
  14. Have been trying talented group of 5 and how is that working out? They pass the puck around sweetly, look great and firing hard shots, off the glass and wide of net; however are putting few pucks actually behind goalies. So if you want Eller in front, I am all for that also, as I said before a different strategy would be nice to start, but if is a Prust-Tangradi-Weise also fine by me.
  15. Tangradi already seems to know what his role is; bang, crash and defend. If he inflict some punishment, make Sabres d a bit twitchy, we should be happy.
  16. Since the PP has sucked since ..? say long time; Yes I would run a Darche, Moan, Weise, or a Tangradi out there; with specific instructions, stick ass in face of tender, keep it there, screen and just pray Subban-Gonchar wildass shots dont catch you in the teeth or side of head! Basically ANYTHING different should at least be tried, cant get worse can it?
  17. Yes 'a lock' was a bit in jest, but still would bet on win today and 7d would be fine by me.
  18. Will Allen look a bit more "in-tune" after a couple practices?
  19. Perron has played past 2 full seasons and not hurt yet this year and given Habs (somewhat) depth on d, wouldn't removing Emelin open a spot for big #24 (which many wouldn't mind seeing or so has been said many times by many people, me included, over last 2 years)?
  20. Hey hey hey, found a worthy opponent and I think win today is a lock, but flip a coin for home game! Well, Dogs have 5 borderline NHL d-men, will they play like it and shut down a very weak offense?
  21. Actually don't see why Plekanec is on PP, he loses many draws and puck instantly ends up going down the ice. DD and Eller should be PP centres. Eller, Galchenyuk & Sekac might be interesting young line for PP?
