  1. I kinda agree with, but Leblanc is simply not NHL material is he and even Bowman wouldn't of helped him. You know d-men offense in junior is hit and miss to transfer to pros. Pateryn way overachieved 1 1/2 years and seems back to norm now and Dietz hasn't even got 1 yr pro under belt. Why Andrighetto scratched was supposedly due to work effort, maybe defensively (where most agree he needs most improvement) he wasn't committed? But, I still think Lefebvre has blessing of Habs Mgmt to carry on, as is and keep following 'some' master plan, like going with 7 d-men directly after Habs find success with it, coincidence, no. Maybe Bergevin-LaCarriere are not pleased, but I just don't get the feeling they are too upset and when interviewed a couple games ago at Dog game, Bergevin showed zero indication of criticizing coaching (unlikely to voice that but just didn't seem concerned one bit).
  2. Bozon (and Reinhart) gets 1g 2a in 3rd period, but still lose in blow out. 7games 4g 9pts. Bout same as ever (203 WHL games and 231 points)
  3. Yes, Alex centering Sekac & Eller/Gallagher/Pacioretty (Wiese even?) is all fine. Something different works for me.
  4. Yes I never thought he was extraordinary, but some of his roster moves which pissed off or confounded many was too funny (to me anyways) And could I care less what kind of coach is passed the cup from Pacioretty? Results based job and why 99% of coaches don't last long with same team. (also funny was that this is Therrien's 2nd kick at can, maybe next coach will be older-wiser Carbo? )
  5. Nice to hear Bennett being up ice around opposition net, he can really skate well.
  6. on 2nd thought I wonder. would it be better to simply combine Habs Prospect treads, simply under Hab Talk just by looking @ #s, 20,000 or so replies since created, does that need to be a whole separate section? Might it get more play if simply another tread on main area? No offense to anyone, just a thought.
  7. Rene scores, Rene scores on 5 on3 PP holy crap!!! then Rene backhands a puck into Tangradi's face, he simply isn't all 'there' is he and concussion really screwed him up or simply was never a bright lad?
  8. Belief in some "superhuman controlling power" sounds all well & good; but I would prefer to have a hard hitting, puck moving top 4 d-man on Habs. Stompin Tom also would suffice for me. Would kind of be like the Canadian version of a hot Faith Hill on Monday Night Football.
  9. I got em ready every game (but they also double as my Tequila and Rum cozy's) and I bet on Habs not matter who opponent is nor how bad a matchup.
  10. And how did Santino's temper help him in The Godfather II and (ugg) III. Phaneuf and Komisarik were both bullies, till Chara challenged them every chance he got and they showed how gutless bullies really are and both are now washed up at young age.
  11. Would like to say I got a good suggestion or two to help you, but sorry simply lack imagination and got no complaints Matt.
  12. Being out shoot 22-10 and now Jensen scores and Dogs down 1-2 with 6minutes left in 2nd.
  13. Galchenyuk only had 3:27 on PP last night, most of any forward. And Plekanec's line had most TOI. (your quote was with regard to Eller-Sekac playing PP time, not Alex)
  14. From Mr. Boone; "Ron Reusch’s pre-game notes included this tidbit: the last time the Montreal Canadiens won 15 of their first 20 games was the autumn of 1943. The Red Army had just turned the tide of World War II with its victory at Stalingrad. Seventy-one years later, the Canadiens won 14 of their first 20."
  15. DD digging hard and drew penalty. nice (how bout sliding Sekac-Eller onto PP?)
  16. Awesome Price glove save to keep it 0-2, .887 save% but not one bit his fault.
  17. ahh, take it all with grain a salt, but If you aint on-bandwagon, I assume you wouldn't mind (or must see as way out) tossing tis year; due to Therrien still at helm and cant win with him coaching I have heard, cant win with 14-51 at centre, Weaver/Gilbert juts not good enough to be on Habs, etc. So the only way to change all that; is simply to tank bad enough and reshuffle the deck for further down the road for maybe 2016-17. Unless you think that possibly, they might just have a legit chance to win a cup as they are (with possible add-on/two in Feb)?
