If it's a return structured like that, they'll have a few teams making offers in that territory (late 1st, good prospect, and something else).
I disagree. I think hes painted the Jets into a corner. Where nobody will pay value for him as they wont know what player they will get. Will he drag his ass. Will he demand a trade by game 30. Will a gm bring that into his locker? And will he give assets for such a question mark. Especially knowing it's for 1 year.

PLD
M. Barron
for
Dvorak
Hoffman(%50)
Kovacevic
Gurianov Rights
Ylonen Rights
COL 2nd 2024
This would be my big max for PLD. I welcome them to find a GM desperate enough to gamble on him and provide more. I think PLD has cut the legs off of the Jets ability to create a viable market.

Hes gonna get traded for a 2nd rounder, mike Hoffman and a ham sandwich.
Any leverage Winnipeg had is being taken away.
Jets fans are delusional right now. They still think they'll get Beck FLA 1st and Harris. I feel bad for them.

Any relation to Radek Dvorak?

Great mix of snipes, deflections and dirty goals. Love the versatility.

Yeah, I think Poehling has to be in there somewhere. I have a gut feeling he will surprise a lot of people this year.
With Byron out, I think you give him a good look over Perrault & Paquette. His job to lose. Just put him in a position to succeed. When Byron's back you have a 2way to send down.

Toffoli Suzuki Caufield

That’s a brilliant move, let’s sit him in the press box so that he doesn’t produce. Than have to either let him become a UFA, ir qualify him at $6m, ir $5.8m, or whatever the amount is. Than we wait when we are allowed to trade him on Aug 27 or 28, and naturally his value should be real high. Yep, that’s definitely the right move to make 🙄🤭
Just a tongue in cheek FU to KK. Is all 😆

I say, Bergy should match. Then sit him in the press box all year. Trade him next off season.

This is more proof that, instead of making a pointless, easily-matched offer sheet to Aho, MB should have either gone all in and overpaid, OR not bothered in the first place. The ultimate result of his half-asserey is to either lose KK or suffer a ridiculous overpay for a kid who has proven nothing.
I let Carolina have him, and basically accept that we are a bottom-5 team this season given our comical inadequacy at C.
Exactly.
Let him go. He'll be the Canes cap issue moving forward. They'll regret it. Silly business move.
We should now focus on playing the kids and aiming for a top prospect this draft.
Fxuk KK.

What a twat. Let him walk & take the picks. The fact that he thinks he's worth that much is delusional. He played along with Carolina to screw the Habs. Let him go. At least Aho's contract was affordable. Was actually too low. Bergy did Waddell a favor lol. Bye Bye KK. Dirt bag.

Allen to Kraken. Tatar out, Caufield in. Danault out, Evans in. Let Staal & Armia walk sign Paquette & Brassard. Along with Poehling or Vejdemo for 4th line. Bring back Perry. Move Kulak+ to AZ for Adin Hill to backup Price. Move out Drouin with retention. Focus on Martinez & Hoffman 2yr deals.
Hoffman - Suzuki - Caufield
Toffoli - Kotkaniemi - Anderson
Byron - Evans - Gallagher
Paquette/Brassard/Poehling/Vejdemo/Lehkonen/Perry

If TB wins, Kucherov & Point are competition. I bet your right if NYI wins … as long as it goes to 6 or 7.
Regardless, Habs have a lot of shining lights and a few stars this postseason, but one superstar … Carey Price.
Well, if Point or Kuch win it, there better be an asterix beside their name. *18 million over lol

Fair to think, Carey gets the Smyth no matter what!

NBC showed KK on a list with some great player with 9 playoff goals before 21 years old.

100% his X and O stuff is well thought out. I'm a big fan.
Im streaming NBC. Rather be listening to TVA. Pretty bad.

I'm really impressed with Caufield tonight. I know he doesn't have many shots but he has caused a couple of turnovers and looks like he has another gear speed-wise. Good signs.
I almost feel like it was Caufield that drove the Hughes bus.

Never seen so many blatant picks. You'd think this was the NBA.

I love how they have to limit the number of people in the arena, but nobody cares that there are thousands of people packed in together outside, lol.

I disagree. I think we'll see him banished to Europe as an unqualified RFA before anyone other than the Habs trade for him.
