  1. Do you remember a few years back when JP Dumont took a hard hit and got a concussion, and woke up only being able to speak French (he was bilingual before that). Well I don't think his brain has fully recovered.
  2. Hey, that's some interesting stats there. Thanks for the link.
  3. I live in Toronto, and its refreshing to hear the media (TSN, Sportsnet, The Fan) now talk about the Habs with respect and waiting for them to explode offensively. As for the Leafs, you can detect fear, they are not sure what's going to happen and what to expect. Not too much optimism on that front. Things are back to normal ! Its the way it should be. :ghg: [Edited on 2005/10/7 by HabsfaninTO]
  4. Hey Morenz & PM Koivu, Whenever I talk to Leaf Fans, all they mention is that in '93, they got screwed when Gretzky high-sticked Gilmour. Funny how their defining moment is when they LOST. :-^ They still think they could have beaten Montreal that year? I just remind them that they took the Kings to game 7, and still couldn't beat them. While the Habs only needed 5 games to eliminate the Kings.
  5. Morenz, The worst is the media, how they complain about the officiating. Even if the opposition gets twice the amount of penalties called than they do, the media complains how 'the whole NHL' is against the Leafs. The ignorance and the arrogance in this city needs to be shut up. Nice job on you colleague. What was his reacton?
  6. ~moeman, The only reason the HHoF (Hockey Hall of fame) is in Toronto, is because is because the NHL knows that this is the only way Leafs' fans can see it!!!!! :ghg:
  7. I actually work for Bank of Montreal, in the head office here in Toronto. It is embarrassing being affiliated with failure, but c'est la vie. Even though the Leaf are sh!t. They are popular here, and for business purposes it is probably a good marketing technique. They can capitalize on the morons who start planning the Stanley Cup parade every time the Leafs sign a 40 year old player. Funny thing is, some people here were saying the same thing when the Leafs were playing Carolina in the playoffs in 2003. Carolina's arena is 'The RBC Centre' named after Royal Bank of Canada which is also HQ in Toronto. :ghg: P.S. I don't know how to attach a picture, but I found this one pretty funny..... http://tssweb.thestar.com/NASApp/TPPSApp//...ndex=1&gallery=
  8. That is great!!! I live in Toronto, so I know of many Leaf fans that can use that product.
  9. That's a good signing. You can never have too many quality D-men. You gotta love that picture on TSN
  10. This is awesome news!!! :ghg:
  11. Hey I like all the avatars and clipart here. Great stuff !:/)
  12. NOTE: This may already exist and I just can't find it. There seems to be alot of amazing Habs clipart here (usually in people's avatar or signatures), is there a central location on this site to gather these clipart? It would make it easier to download rather than to go searching through the forums for a particular pic. If not it would be a nice to have. I don't know how easy or difficult it is to set up a folder for it. Cheers P.S. This site is the greatest. :/) [Edited on 2005-1-3 by puck7x]
  13. I agreee, Quintal always played hard for the Habs. But I guess they're clearing some room for him on D for Komasirek and Hainsey.
  14. Hey everyone. I just came across this site and I love it. Being in Toronto, I need to keep in touch with my :hlogo: roots. :ghg:
