The Pittsburgh Penguins will host the Washington Capitals at Heinz Field on New Year's Day, while the Montreal Canadiens will travel to Calgary sometime in February to face the Flames at McMahon Stadium.Habs get another outdoor game while the Leafs & 'Nucks look on.

Markov had surgery finally... recovery expected to last 6 months, so we'll see him in ~November.

That doesn't sound correct. My bro in toronto goes to buffalo all the time, to see the habs play. He gets his seats on the telephone.
I'm talking playoffs here... not regular season.

A friend of mine mentioned that the American teams don't sell tickets to Canada... so you would have to have other arrangements to get the tickets (i.e. a friend in the states, or, scalpers at an elevated price).
