  1. Yes, but Gainey's goal was to develop the young players. Ribeiro and Dagenais wouldn't have help much probably. Begin, on the other side, can teach them attitude (which they surely lack.. Like plekanec said, they are losing lot of games by 1 goal..). Begin is an awesome leader and can really help the young Habs. Ribeiro and Dagenais aren't players with the best work ethic.. I can understand why Gainey sent Begin and not Ribs and Dags.. :ghg::/) I agree what you say. Just a hypothetical (sp?) question
  2. This is great. Begin will boost the team morale with a few hits here and there. Dawgs can use more players who play with their heart on their sleeve every game. edit: holy smokes wouldn't it have been nuts if the Dawgs had Ribeiro and Dagenais with them this season. Would be freakin' nuts. [Edited on 2005/2/18 by Tony]
  3. The dynasty mode in 2004 wasn't that great either, was crazy when players want 25 million dollars for a one year deal. I did 3 seasons in dynasty and got bored quick. Maybe it was my playing strategies (no I didn't trade everyone to make a super team) or something but the game got really easy. The only time where the game was competitive is during the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs. The other team was adapting to playing style and kept blocking all my one timers and passes. edit: yes it was hard mode, I'm not trying to show off don't get me wrong, just saying how the dynasty mode is badly done in my opinion after a season or two. I also got 50 GMail invites. I don't know about you people but I rarely use my GMail account. I've been using the same Hotmail account for like 5 years now.
  5. What he said Always good news when you hear that the Habs' prospect are wanted by other teams
  6. Hope the team gets some good rest and that Jarvis will come up with a new strategy that might improve the team's powerplay, it's horrible. I'm sure they wouldn't have as many losses if their power play wasn't so mediocre.
  7. Nice, the Dawgs finally hit the 500 mark. Hope they don't go under it next game :/
  8. Those are indeed some good signs Puck. I remember seeing some games in the beginning of the season, all Andrei had was a sweet shot or else he was struggling most of the time. edit: Puck made the update [Edited on 2005/2/13 by Tony]
  9. Dawgs score again in the third 3-1 Tomas Plekanec (Chris Higgins) 0:38
  10. You think he's fully adapted to the North American playing style ? (No, I'm not being sarcastic, it's a serious question).
  11. Second Intermission. Some quick stats --> (Shots per period) Rochester 8 3 0 11 Hamilton 10 11 0 21 And the Amerks first goal was on a penalty shot. edit: Higgins and Ott lead the game with 3 shots each. [Edited on 2005/2/13 by Tony]
  12. And just like that the Dawgs take the lead 2-1. Steve Ott (Corey Locke, Jason Ward) 16:48
  13. Bah Spidey didn't update so I guess I'll do it. 1-1 Gavin Morgan (Andrei Kostitsyn, Dan Jancevski) 16:02
  14. What the hell is this crap, I can't listen to the game on Team 990. What program do you people use if you can hear the feed? I tried listening on the radio but it's battery powered :|
  15. I haven't checked the number of games left in the Bulldogs' scheduel but does anyone here think they can break the 500 barrier before the season ends?
  16. Man I'm so pissed no freakin' channel around the area is broadcasting these games on cable television I can't stand these all Canadian match ups on Sportsnet.
  17. From what I heard the NHL is making the PA an offer on Monday. Don't forget, the meetings Linden organized said that they wouldn't trade proposals.
  18. I saw that during SportsCenter. That's awesome.
  19. I'm fet up of seeing Canadian teams face off on the AHL on Sportsnet. Freakin' blows. I wish I could see the Dogs face someone else who isn't a Canadian team.
  20. Spiderman 2 - knocked the crap out of the first one.
