  1. WORD! lot of fans in montreal are bashing streit.... ok, he had a terrible game vs. wsh, I agree. this was a -2 game for him. but the other games he played, he was NOT on the ice when other teams scored! another point: I can't understand, why he didn't score till now.... he got a lot of pp-icetime and can shoot very well. but now, it's time to show his skills!!!!!
  2. really, my absolutely favourite hockey-arena around the world!! and I've seen a lot of them...!!

  9. tonight, it's time for Mark Streit to score his first NHL-Goal!!!
  10. My father worked for swissair (grounded a few years ago), so I had the opportunity to get some cheap flights all around the world. My girlfriend had the idea to visit montreal a few years ago, I was excited. Arrived at Dorval airport, the first thing I wanted to see was the bell centre and fortunately, it was a habs game the same evening;). My girlfriend wasn't very happy about that, but we both enjoyed the game.... and since that evening, I'm a habsfan for life! :hlogo: I'm often listening radio when the habs are playing and thats from 1am - 4am in switzerland-time. :eyes:... Montreal is my favourite city in NA, and I've been in montreal now for three times. Maybe, in march 2006, I'll travel to montreal to see the habs! Greetz Swiss-Habsfan
  11. thanx, Dutch_Habs_Fan! I'm shure that Mark Streit is much better than he performed yet. He played now about 8 games... so, give him more time! Unfortunately, I can't see how Streit is playing (I can't see his mistake last night).... but guy's, whats the difference to sheldon souray? that was a horrible mistake!!!! In my eyes, some people are not fair enough to Mark Streit.... yeah, I know... in canada, he's the little swiss-farmer or however . But this guy know's to play a very good hockey and so, give him some more time (icetime)! Regards, Swiss-Habsfan I'll visit montreal in spring to see some habs-games and I hope that Mark is still playing for the canadiens! Go Mark! [Edited on 2005/10/28 by Swiss-Habsfan]
  12. yup! yeah~ but then the coach put dandenault back in defense~ damn, i can't see the game.... that means streit made errors in the defense??!
  13. is streit playing tonight? somebody wrote that dandenault plays as rw...
  14. :/) I'm very happy that Mark crack up the lineup! Give him a few games, I'm sure he'll score. [Edited on 2005/10/5 by Swiss-Habsfan]
  15. exactly, Mark Streit want to sign a OneWay-contract but that could be the reason the negotiations brake down. WM-Stats Mark Streit [Edited on 2005/5/7 by Swiss-Habsfan]
  16. He's captain of the swiss national team and captain of the ZSC Lions, both! An absolutely leading figure. Tonight he scored against russia!
  17. In swiss newspapers, i can read that Pierre Gauthier (scouting director) is enthusiastic about Mark Streit. Mark Streit was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the 9th round (262nd overall) in 2004. He's playing now for the swiss hockey team at the world championship in Austria. Yesterday he had 4 Assist against Germany. In Switzerland, Mark Streit plays for Zurich, my favourite team. I saw him playing several games this season and I think he could really play in the NHL. 18. Yeah, I have already saw that site! You're a really lucky man! You live in Europe but did what most of us in America never done, a trip to see NHL games in different cities. It was surely awesome trips. Nice pictures too. You're pretty lucky ! thanx! I'm a crazy hockey-fan. Living in europe, I've to travel to canada for seeing good hockey! --> save money in summer, buy a ticket to montréal in winter :can:
  19. NHL - "Habs" --> nothing else!!! Jarome Iginla, Vincent Lecavalier, Ilya Kovalchuk Swiss-Hockey - ZSC Lions Soccer - Tottenham Hotspurs (ENG), FC Zurich (SUI), FC Barcelona (ESP) Ronaldinho, Frank Lampard Tennis - Roger Federer :king:
  20. thanx! that's not a surprise for me that I'm the first swiss habsfan joining the HW forum! In switzerland, most of nhl-interessed people are leafs- or rangers-fan. I've create a photo-website about my visits in Canada/USA including some pics of the bell centre! Check it out: http://www.nhlarenas.ch PS: sorry about my english :eyes:
  21. thanx! you're right, Oleg is too small for the nhl. But he was every season one of the best scorer in Switzerland. The swiss league, which is less physical, is surely better for Oleg. Eric Landry is also playing in switzerland, but his stats are not really good.
