I have been able to join Joost through a private invite. As of today, the entire NHL playoffs are on joost commercial and intermission free. They also have a few classic games. Overall I am not yet impressed with the joost programming but I suspect that it will improve with popularity. BTW it has a lot of SI swimsuit stuff. If anyone wants to check it out badly I can supply some invites. Not sure how many I have.

While there is no way I would demote Koivu to the third line....the Habs did pay Bonk 2.5 million to centre the third line and Samsonov 3.5 to sit of the bench. There is money available for a better 1st line player giving one of the current top line players a demotion to the lower lines.

It's time people start noticing these players. For the first time in a few years the farm team is almost all Habs players and the are leading the Calder Cup final...fantastic.

I doubt the Habs will keep their payroll down to 44 million if the cap jumps that much. Last year Gillette told gainey to spend whatever was need to make the team the best...it didn't work out as planned but at least they did not throw all the assets away for short-term relief...*cough Atlanta* I doubt they will go to 52 million but I wouldn't be surprised if they went to 50. They no longer have to pay part of their revenues to lesser teams as the team finished somewhere in the middle of the pack for revenues. (I believe only the top 10 have to pay the bottom 10 some of their revenues...I could be totally wrong)

Good depth move and it never hurts to gamble a little. There are still a few forward spots open for hamilton players even without injuries. I can't imagine the Habs not adding any NHL experienced forwards as well. If he didn't then we would be in big trouble should a few forwarsd get injured/sick.

I read on another Habs board that the Canadiens signed Janne Lahti of the Finnish Elite League today. We will see if North American news picks up on this...and if it is indeed true. He turns 25 this summer and lead the league in goalscoring in the playoffs. 6-2 200lbs.
