45 Minutes until our march begins!

Loaded up on the snacks last night. Wings, Pop, Beer, Calamari, Pizza, Chips, Pretzels...you name it, I've got it. The guys are coming over to watch the Flames at 5:30 and I'm making them stay for the Avs at 8:30. Time for us to show how overrated the Oilers really are

Bend It Like Beckham will always hold a special place for me since it's where I first found Keira Knightley (Trust me, thats a big deal, lol). Another movie that came to mind is Spaceballs. Anyone else like that movie? Man, it's hilarious. I'll post my DVD list for lack of anything else to do. Man, I know exactly where you're coming from. My friends are all the same. They actually paid 11 bucks to see Dukes of Hazzard:guru: I mean, come on! And I still regret paying to see Fantastic Four. Man, that was a bad movie. I hope you don't mind but I'm gonna add one more category Favorite Movie: This is a tough one because I have a favorite for just about every category, it depends what mood I'm in. Just off the top of my head...Return of the King, Sin City, The Hole, Love Actually or Cold Mountain Favorite Actor: Clive Owen/Denzel Washington Favorite Actress: Keira Knightley/Rachel McAdams Favorite Director: Antoine Fuqua, Ang Lee (The Hulk is a blind spot to me) or The Spielberg I guess those would be my Top 5 movies. Other ones that deserve mention are Training Day, Scarface, Pulp Fiction, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Jacket, Bend It Like Beckham, Million Dollar Baby and The Notebook. Seriously guys, suck up your manhood and watch The Notebook. Very good movie. Some good stuff for the rest of the year too. Chronicles of Narnia, Goblet of Fire, Pride and Prejudice, Domino, Elizabethtown, King Kong. Alright, I'll stop rambling now:D. In fact, I'll be amazed if anyone read all of that.

I've been a huge Red Sox fan for a while now and we couldn't of gotten a better first round matchup then the White Sox. Playoff experience means a lot more in baseball then any other sport and the White Sox don't have much. Good team, and will be for a while but this year is not their year. Red Sox in 4 Yankees in 5 Why would it be anything else? I LIVE for a Yankee/Red Sox ALCS. Cardinals in 4 Astros in 4 Hmm....this seems familiar...I think the NLCS wil play out differently though. I think Peavy will win his start against the Cards and the series could go 5 if he goes twice. He'll pitch well against the stacked Cardinals lineup and hopefully the baseball world will take notice. Red Sox in 6 Astros in 7 You need a great bullpen to make it through the playoffs. Something the Yankees though have. Their 200 million dollars will buy them the same thing it got them last year: Nothing. And Steinbrenner can throw another hissy fit. And I really, really like the Astros. What can I say, I've got a soft spot for the Rocket. Schilling/Clemens matchup would be bloody amazing. Basically any combination of Clemens, Oswalt, Schilling and Wells. The Red Sox and Astros are both pretty equal teams and I'm gonna be a homer here but I think Papi and Manny give us the edge here. As long as Clement doesn't explode (which hes done on numerous occasions this season) I think we'll take the series in 7. I know it doesn't have much credit since I'm a huge Sox fan but thats how I truly think the playoffs will go down.

I still want to go put a pre-order down but I don't think anyone is taking them anymore. Guess I'm gonna be standing in line for 4 hours on the 21st. I can't wait till I get my hands on Perfect Dark Zero and Elder Scrolls IV. And DOA 4. And Call of Duty 2. And Kameo. And Quake IV. And Final Fantasy XI. And....yeah....I'm gonna be broke by the time New Years rolls around.

Are Grapes and Mclean apart of that CBC strike? Anyone know if they're even close to settling it?

Yeah, Avery can talk tough but he can't back anything up. Wait...that reminds me of something...

Basically they were jawing at each other. Lappy dropped his gloves too but Avery just skated away and started yelling at him from the box. So they were yelling at each other during their time in the box. Lappy dropped his gloves on Sunday night too in Vegas but Avery skated away then too. Last nights started when Avery went after Sakic and you just don't touch Sakic. May and Lappy both gang tackled him after that and then the yapping started. Also, Tanguay absolutely CREAMED Avery last night, thats where his boarding penalty comes from...hehe....

I think this is gonna be the same as what Brett Hull was saying about Wayne Gretzky. Everyone knows what hes done so it's not like he has to earn the players respect. It's already there, they've seen what hes done in his career so its going to be easier for him to get the players to listen. The only thing I don't get is he said he'd never coach when he retired, he wanted to be a GM. Ah well, you can change your mind. I think Roy is going to do a great job as a head coach.

I think Buffalo at 25 is the worst. I have no idea why people think this team is going to do so poorly. They only barely missed the playoffs last season and have a very young and speedy team. I think Buffalo is going to be a 6-7 team easily this season.

Nah, not on mine either but you never know how anything is going to play out. Especially this year, pre-season predictions are so useless. No one knows how big of an impact the new rule changes will have, how new players wil gel with their teams etc etc. Nashville certainly has the potential to be a good team however.l

SI listed Nashville as the 5th best team. A little too high if you ask me but they're gonna be good nontheless. This is a team thats built for the new rules and Vokoun can stand on his head at any given time. 5th-6th in the West. 4th if Vokoun has a Vezina season.

I'd say maybe a little over half. It's so hard to keep things straight, everything seems to merge together when I try to think back to when things happened relative to others. On another topic, tonight I found out Scrubs isn't part of NBC's fall lineup. This is OUTRAGEOUS! It's the funniest sitcom left on TV now that Raymond is gone, and I like it even better than Raymond. Now I have to wait till another show gets cancelled or for the season of the stupid Apprentice ends. I HATE REALITY TV! They got rid of Scrubs but have TWO versions of the ****ing Apprentice. Give me a break.

The last thing I remember from Season 2 is Kim is in the mountains being stalked by a cougar. How far in is that?

Yeah, my dads been watching since the first season. I watched the first season, half the second season and the 4th season. We have the first 3 on DVD so I need to watch the parts I've missed @Dutch, I love Seinfeld. I've got the first 3 seasons on DVD You guys need to pick up the first season of Lost and start watching it. Easily one of the most intriguing shows on television.

Just got done watching the premiere of Lost (OMG, LOVE THAT SHOW) and now I'm halfway through Invasion. I'ts been decent so far, I think I'll keep watching it. With all the premieres and stuff this week, I figured this would be a good topic. Anyway, just list what shows you watch and whatnot, guess I might as well start off. * means I still have to see the premiere/episode Sunday: Family Guy, American Dad, The Simpsons, Desperate Housewives (what? Eva Longoria is friggin hot >_>) Monday: Prison Break, Surface, Arrested Development, RAW Tuesday: My Name Is Earl, The Office, Supernatural* Wednesday: Lost, Invasion Thursday: Alias, Smallville, Night Stalkers*, CSI Friday: Threshold, Ghost Whisperer* And 24 whenever they decide what day to put it on.
