    The 29 other teams don't f*cking matter when the Avs make the playoffs.

    What are you doing back here anyway.

    Just wanted to see how the league was holding up.

    Btw, I was joking about the flames thing. ;)

    This is it guys. I'm calling it quits... for REAL this time.

    Basically, I'm pulling a Stream here( :blink: ). I'm wasting time when I need to be focusing my efforts on what's really important right now. It's just best if I finally cut my ties to the league.

    I remember when I first joined, I was instantly hooked with HWL. It became an addiction for me to spend time on here and trading with you fine gentlemen. All I wanted was to win the cup and once I finally did that my interest was shot. However, I tried my best to keep active because I never really wanted to leave this league as being apart of this group and fun was just too much to give up.

    When I tried to quit last time, I was fooled into thinking that if I took a rebuilding team, I could find a way to stay in the league without worrying too much about how much time I spent on here. Then I kept thinking that jumping from team to team would somehow renew my interest and get me going again. While I've enjoyed what I've done here in Washington, I'm just kidding myself. This team deserves a more active and responsible GM and I'm letting this great team down. It would be best if someone else ran them and got them playing to their potential. However, more importantly, I'm letting you guys and this league down by doing what I've done and I want to apologize for that. I should apologize for my bad jokes and bad humor over the years too while I'm at it.

    With that, I want to thank each and every single one of you for giving me the experience I had in this league. You guys are the best group of GM's a league could possibly have and I'm sure this league will be in good hands for a long time to come! :clap:

    There was actually a big boycott effort over EASHL before the game came out. I was gonna post it here but I figured people would be able to realize it was a waste of money. I'm done the online league until they get their head out of their ass.

    EA Sports DLC just isn't worth it, they're even more brutal with Madden. And if this stuff actually sells, they're just going to charge for much lamer stuff. So.....stop

    I agree with you. However I still think we can beat people on live with unlockables alone. ;)

    Dammit, you guys bought that shit?

    That kind of thing is why I hate the whole concept of DLC. Stop giving EA more reasons to charge us for stupid crap.

    I haven't bought anything. I've unlocked quite a few things so I just used what ever experience and unlockables I had to boost myself up. Made a big difference already.

    The booster packs are 240 microsoft points though and I have about that just sitting in my account that I, like Maca, have had sitting there for months. Not to mention that you have to play over 3 seasons in "Be a Pro" to unlock those damned things. Probably won't buy it still though because my guy actually has a wrister and can move now.

    I don't mind skipping, I have to decorate the house for Christmas on the 29th which takes all damn day. :P

    I kept going to see when the season ends. Playoffs should start a little under a week before Christmas. Uh oh.

    Guys, I was indeed in vacation. 2 weeks in Nicaragua.

    However, the vacation from HWL shall be permanent. These vacations were Life changing to say the least. I do not wish to spend anymore time on EHM as it keeps me away from being more efficient in business and hence keeps me away from spending more time in other countries.

    *shocker*

    I name as my successor BTH, for his disponibility, willingness to do the job on a long term basis, his league experience (one of the longest serving member), his constant improvment in the game and particularly: his diplomacy, his capacity to take heat, his capacity to resolve conflicts.

    I certainly know that you guys will not be entirely in favor of that decision, but it was a decision made in committee between me, Tony and Seb some 2-3 months ago and we really believe that BTH has all the quality to succeed. Before starting the bashing and the questioning, give the guy a chance. Yes he has been a poor / not so active GM at times... But a good GM doesn't necessarily make a good commish (me being the best example! or take David B :P ) and the opposite is true too. I know BTH the person more than BTH the GM and BTH the person is a pretty good guy.

    Seb - Tony - BTH

    will be the comittee, should BTH refuse the Job, Tony and Seb will be Commishes in committee, although they already told me that they wouldn't really do that for a long time.

    It's been a good 5 years with you guys. Take care of my ducks. I hope that Captain Stealth or David B would want to manage them.

    I'll stop by from time to time.

    Really sad to see you go Stream. HWL just isn't the same without you.You've helped the league tremendously with your contributions as well as your commitment etc.
