  1. looks like you were much more on the mark then me. We really aren't even close to as good as i thought we were.... Ha, weird. I posted on my brothers account by accident. Oops
  2. I haven't read this thread so this statement may be a repeat. I'm tired of seeing people complain every game about the officiating. Outside of extenuating circumstances (Oiler game last week) the players decide the game 99.9% of the time, regardless of the officials. I'll complain about a call as much as the next guy during the game, but when the game is over, it is really lame to blame officials for a loss, or even claim they were bias. The calls balance out in the end, and the players decide who wins and losses, not the players. Having said all this, SCREW YOU KERRY FRASER
  3. I only like vertigo when the habs score (id like any song after the habs score) and the old song was sweet. I agree they should bring it back.
  4. I think Montreal could get someone good from Tampa for Aebisher. Montreal might be able to get Richards, St. Louis or Lacalvalier (I doubt they would trad him though) for Aebisher and maybe someone else.
  5. He needs to be careful. First he took out our captain with a high stick. Then I figured he wouldn't be as bad with the stick after almost taking out Koivu's eye. Then he high sticks Markov and there is no call. I am woried he is gonna cause more injuries if he isn't careful, and get away with it because of the idiot/blind refs.
  6. It will be a lot better when Boullion is back and the habs dont have to play streit.
  7. In defense of Aebischer, he is under a lot of pressure, just being traded to a city like Montreal, plus it has only been 2 games. Though if Huet was playing we probably would have won just because of that really bad goal that Huet let in where the guy didn't even really shoot. Another thing is that we ended up having four defense men for part of the game when Rivet hurt himself, and Boullion getting injured. We need to worry about our defense with Markov, and now Boullion (who did make that nice play in the 1st period) gone.
  8. Wow I have never been so confused.
  9. I agree, CBC is very biased. I guess I can't complain too much about habs coverage since I get every game on RDS, but here is a stupid thing about CBC. When they scheduled to have a Senators game on an Ottawa CBC station, they ended up changing it to the leafs. This is ridiculous for Senators fans who deserve to get to see their team play (not that I am pro Senators, they were the worst sports when they faced the habs). Though I did notice that they decided to show a Montreal game on Montreal CBC this Saturday (I believe). Another thing is that they showed that who 1000 game for Domi, which was a joke all together because he isn't even a good player. Boom Boom accomplished way more in his career. Anyway I sign.
  10. No that is not the most cup wins in History. I believe the most cup wins for a player in the history of the stanley cup is Henri Richard with 11.
  11. Too bad we didn't beat them when it the season was on the line last season.
  12. U r not exactly an expert on the subject, they are, so it would be better to not risk another kovalev injury (that was a horrible month). What do you think, they were holding him back to make the habs suffer? :ghg:
  13. With every team playing the same amount of games, I'm not sure that is mathematically possible. It is possible, but you are right it would be very unlikly, because they both would have to lose a lot of games and still get into the playoffs. my mistake.
  14. and if we didn't lose, why did pittsburge get more points then us? because they won. who here honestly agrees Laxrst? [Edited on /11/12/05 by GoHabsGo_24cups]
  15. In that game against the peinguins, that one play is being shown throughout tsn when Crosby scored on Theodore in the shootout. Now this is gonna be the defining moment of Crosbys first season. They are gonna keep on showing Crosby clinching the game against his first Canadian team game, and Theodore is the one they are going to see in net. I think Crosby is a good player, but this one play is getting way to much publicity. I remember this was considered to be number one in the TSN plays from that night. However, the number 2 play was easily much better, it was the Predaters' Steve Sullivan I believe. This was an amazing goal, he had to move past two defenders to score. Then you see the number one and its just a good back hand off a Shootout. Who agrees that this goal is good, but very over rated? [Edited on /11/12/05 by GoHabsGo_24cups]
  16. no offence, but this is a stupid conversation. I admit it, I was very disapointed when we lost 2 the peinguins (especially to Sidney Crosby which by the way is shown way 2 much on TSN), but im not so pathetic that i cant admit it that we lost. Ask anyone who watches hockey in the new NHL, and they will tell you that losing in OT is a loss. Besides, losing in OT shouldn't even count as a point. Rewarding teams who lose doesn't seem like the way to go. A team who have lost more games but have gone 2 OT more then another team could take their playoff spot. :ghg:
  17. I got my hopes up when we got past seven, and it was disapointing to come so far and lose, but 5th is also very good.:ghg:
