YES, Bourque with the win!

lafrous? You're entitled to your opinion. We all have them, and that's what makes websites like these interesting. But kindly refrain from using the word fact, will ya? Especially when discussing someone's heart. Because you have no clue what you're talking about. Again, these are opinions. The current temperature is -11C outside my door, that's a fact. Getting inside the head of a player from Europe is impossible. But keep posting, I agree with your take on Campoli.

No way, just no way. Molson is a fool if he allows this to continue. Anyway, I think he probably is regardless. It's not like he built the brewery himself. He's a rich kid with a toy.

It's safe to say that we've picked up a lot of haters over the years. The amount of success, plus the fact that many have a Toronto connection, you can understand it. Mix in the french/english stuff, and it all makes sense. I laugh when most of them say "I don't cheer for any team in particular"

Chris Nilan, on local radio, said we we all suspect about Mike Milbury. And absolute deep hatred for the Habs. Based on constantly losing to us during his entire career. He told of a funny story about how Milbury was going to go after that french guy Stefan Richer. Richer broke his nose with one punch. Can anyone explain why our national network has him on the payroll? It's disgusting.

I agree Willey101. And that was the consensus on l'antichambre last night. Yes, I realize they're buffoons.
-
What? That's kind of silly. This is one of the better places to play. So what if he got booed a few times. When he walks the streets, drinks in a bar, eats in a great restaurant, he's treated like royalty. He'll sign here for a long time, just like Gorges did.Exactly. I'm shocked that Price could ever love Montreal or even want to re-sign. The fans here have for the most part been brutal to him. Most goalies don't start receiving consideration of being a starter until they reach 24. At 24, Price has been a starter/1b for four seasons, deep into his fifth. That's ridiculous.
If Price wants to stay in Montreal long-term he's a bigger person than I am. If I was in his skates I'd be looking for the quickest contract to get me into UFA status.

Confused here, not sure what to think? Last night on l'antichambre, some actual respect given to Cunneyworth and his system. The short passes, the sustained pressure, less sitting back. But the other thing that get's me is the idea of Cammalleri and his bad attitude. You had Michel Bergeron saying the team is clearly playing better without that malcontent Cammi. I realize it's the ex Nordique, but it's seemingly everywhere, this bad attitude in the room theme. As much as I want it to be true, and that we "won" that trade, it's a little early to make such a declaration. Why the hate on here for Cammi? And on the flip side, the CBC lovefest for him? Odd times. Even when factoring in that Cammi wasn't happy, it's as if the local media is, as a group, defending the team.

Nice end to the weekend. Bourque looks like a good piece to the puzzle going forward. We're slowly but surely getting bigger.
-
They say Kaberle never shoots, I can see why...it's ok though, just keep distributing the puck
-
I'm liking Gomez tonight.
-
Good, he has a very manageable cap hit. When Bourque is motivated, he's a dominant player. When he isn't, he's invisible. Think of him like a poor man's Rick Nash.
-
I'm a fan first, before I play coach and GM. I believe Gauthier acquired Bourque to address the need to get bigger. First impression? He's fast and huge!
-
Wow, Rangers have lost 5 in a row here.
-
Please accept my apologies Joe. I'd "prefer" they be French speaking. But hope for the best.WTF ? I'm totally against picking a french canadian GM or coach just cuz of the language thing. You might mistake me with some other member on this board.
And if you're refering to this post : http://forums.habsworld.net/index.php?showtopic=23080&view=findpost&p=433967 , I was just stating the most logical choices out there, those that would make the cut given the French Speaking situation, not my personal choices.
-
That's fine Joe. But the only qualifications your choices have are place of birth and first language. If you thought outside the box, and made hockey decisions, you'd be more credible.A winner that drafted Toews and Kane cuz his team sucked for almost half a decade and then forgot to send his RFA's Q offers in time ?
No thanks.

I've noticed, you travel too much. We have a game to lose tonight, c'mon.Replying on the iPhone is problematic at times - especially at the airport with spotty wireless coverage
-
Commandant, go easy on this guy, he's new! You're destroying his arguments one by one.If we are gonna talk about "any level".... he scored over 30 last year... 17 in the AHL and 14 in the NHL with his callup for 31 goals on the season and this all after being injured in February and missing the rest of the season.
-
It's not even debatable. I hope "guest" to this website from other teams don't think we believe he's worth a 1st.We will have to agree to disagree.
I really think Gill will garnish a very low first rounder.
As for Weber he is the same age as PK I really would not trade him unless it was overpayment at this stage.
-
Can we use a little common sense please? A 1st rounder for Hall Gill? That GM would be fired within an hour.
-
Thank you Mr. Cucumber.
-
You got it brobin. I come to my favorite website on a cold, winter Saturday night. What do I find? Losers, wanting to lose.
-
I'm encouraging you ontariens to go. I'll stay here with the countries best restaurants, hottest women, and best night life.Be careful, it's truculent.

You can type LOL all night. I guess I'll take a long look, as if I haven't yet. I still want to win. Hey, the leaf bandwagon has room.LOL.. no, this site is full of realists that want to build a cup team.. not 15 more years of so-so crap..
Please, take a good long look at this team.. it is not very good and hasn't been all year. We do have a good young core.. lets get some picks and prospects to go with them and we might be the next boston or NYR...

Hey, we've got the 8th seed in our building, and we're rested. It's time to do something, anything. Not a great start.
