:hlogo::ghg::hlogo:
Member of the Day? Since when did we have a member of the day?
No, no, no... he mispoke himself. He was supposed to say: "do you remember the day?" You know, the one in which he got that idea this summer.
Nope, not remember the day, Member of the Day, its Bulis, look at the stats thing at the bottom.

Alright, so here it is...
Macaskill's Fearless Prediction
Habs 5, Leafs 2
Habs:
-Ryder to score on the Powerplay
-Plekanec gets his first.
-Kovalev finally gets his... on a penalty shot!
-Koivu scores, thier line is on fire tonight.
-Markov nets one, hit's a Leaf defender on the way in.
(Bonk and Perezhogin gets 2 assists each)
Leafs:
-Alexei Ponikarovsky on a nifty pass by Kaberle
-Wellwood shows he wants to stay by dekeing out everyone in front of the net

Wow. Your Habs predictions were exactly like mine except for Kovalevs goal.
-
Yeah, thats not the most impressive 4th line out there.
-
Cool, thanks for that.

It is also a good reminder for those Leaf fans that do not accept reality, in that Montreal is the real home of hockey.
STATS:
Most Stanley Cup championships
23 Montreal Canadiens
13 Toronto Maple Leafs
9 Detroit Red Wings
Most consecutive Stanley Cup championships
5 Montreal Canadiens (1956-60)
4 Montreal Canadiens (1976-79)
4 New York Islanders (1980-83)
Most Finals series appearances
32 Montreal Canadiens
21 Toronto Maple Leafs
21 Detroit Red Wings
Most consecutive Finals series appearances
10 Montreal Canadiens (1951-60)
5 Montreal Canadiens (1965-69)
5 New York Islanders (1980-84)
Most years in playoffs
72 Montreal Canadiens
61 Toronto Maple Leafs
59 Boston Bruins
Most consecutive playoff appearances
29 Boston Bruins (1968-96)
28 Chicago Blackhawks (1970-97)
24 Montreal Canadiens (1971-94)
22 St. Louis Blues (1980-2001)
21 Montreal Canadiens (1949-69)
Go Habs Go :hlogo:
Ummm..... The Habs have won 24 cups not 23, so that makes them seem even GREATER!!!!!!!!!!!

The Canadiens website has the final roster posted now.
:hlogo::ghg::hlogo:
-
Zednik-Koivu-Kovalev
Dagenais-Ribeiro-Ryder
Plekanec-Bonk-Bulis
Sundstrom-Begin-Higgins/Ivanans/Perezhogin
Souray-Komisarek
Markov-Rivet
Dandenault-Bouillon/Streit
Jose Theodore
Yann Danis/Cristobal Huet
IMHO this will be what it looks like for opening night, im sure that Plekanec definitely made the team.

I think my dad an i are going to go and watch Latendresse in St. John, when Drummondville plays the SeaDogs. It will be nice to see him in real life.
-
Well since nobody could think of a #3.. I might as well stick one in here.... #3 - Adrian Aucoin.... who i add should have been a habs this year.
:hlogo::ghg::hlogo:

I really hope and wish that Gainey somehow gets someone better for our blue line.....
