robinson as asst coach for the d is a very good idea. that way he wont have all the pressure on himself. He is a good coach but takes everything too much to heart. Some nights I think he would like to put the skates on himself and show them how it is done.

I dont think that sutter is good fit for montreal 3 head coaches might be too many. He will want full contrrol and that will not happen. Carbo is the guy

well I for one do not want him at 6 mill per year we already have one goalie being paid too much so we should pay even more for about the thing? @3.2 mill he is being paid what he is worth. will he come for 3.5 mill? if so let's get him

johnny i agree there are far too many personal attacks. I may not think that tanking the season is the answer but I can see why you say it. Having eric johnson would be something. However this team is not that far away from being really good. we spent 5 years getting to this stage now is not the time to change direction. Bob will get it done. luongos agent is gilles lupien I remember when he played for that his talent was he was very big and very strong a good enforcer but not too bright. He is proving beyond a shadow of a doubt just how dim that bulb is. 30 mill 5 years in todays NHL is an awful lot more than he is worth. look at khabibulin would anybody sign him for 6+ per year now? one player does not make a team. theo is overpaid and luongo is nuts. oh and by the way there are no patrick roys in this league he was one of a kind

carbo is back as am associate coach not as an assistant I would say that means he will be the new head coach once bg is done evaluating the troops he has. BG also I would think wants to give Carbo time to fit in and make a plan for how to get this team going in the right direction. Larry can't handle the presssure in NJ no way could he handle Mon. It is extremely good news that Carbo is back. He is a died in the wool habs and never should have left. Can we blame houle for that too?

THANKS GUYS I do have those sites and for indivual players NHLPA is I think the best. I want to know where to get team cap info and yes it does change on a daily basis but I hear people saying that this team or that team is in cap trouble. Ok where did you see that? I do not need to know on daily basis but a close idea would be nice.Does anyone know what level the habs are? I sure as hell do not. I guess I could call uncle bob and ask but he is so close to the vest he might mislead me. ok just kidding.

I have heard that the ch are about 34 million and have lots of cap room but I do not know this to be fact or fiction. If we knew this info then some of these goofy rumours etc would not happen. les Habitants need an upgrade no question but we were not going to win the cup this year and therefore we wait for good opportunities and make the best of them or we go hire Mike "I'll trade anybody for anybody" Milbury so we can rebuild every 2 years Take your pick. my reason for saying to give them ribs/vagenais is to keep us out of cap trouble. we would need to unload salary to pick up 3.5m. I think jersy will take just about anything at this point. If he has cleared waivers it will be interesting to see what lou does now does he have the balls to send him down? or could we make a deal for a bag of pucks and jersy pay 1/2 salary? could be very interesting

lets remember that before he got here Kovalev was a floater and not doing anything Now he's the second coming and a great force. Kovalev has proven he has got the talent. It would be interesting to see Mogilny bring us the second punch after kovalev. we need scoring he needs playmakers. I say give NJ dagenais and ribero take mogilny they save cap $$ and we have the cap room. Its worth a shot until the kids get here.

sorry I was so amazed that someone would gut the team for no good purpose that I forgot how to post. Would anybody in their right mind have done this 20 games ago how about right after we beat boston in 04. It's no wonder no one wants to play on montreal. I personally do not like the "new format" it seems to me more difficult to navigate I liked the old hot topics on the side now i 'm not sure where to go. I must admit that I am less interested than I was but I am a newbie as you make so painfully obvious so i'll keep checking back but by and large I dont like it
