  1. I agree. I hope we have a changing of the guard a la Hackett/Theodore.
  2. I'd very much like for us to take a lead into the 3rd period.
  3. Agreed. I think BG may have seen this coming by signing him to a single year contract. Too bad he didn't do the same with Bonk.
  4. Regardless of winning or losing tonight, the 05-06 Habs have lost my respect. That is, until they can put together a 4 game win streak.
  5. After a night such as this one, it makes it so much easier to hold your head high and pronounce loud and clear, "Yes, I am a Habs fan". I hope there's more of this on the way. :hlogo: :hlogo:
  6. Where's Bulis The Habbie? He's going to shit himself for missing this!!!
  7. Oh baby!!!! I think I just soiled myself.. Bulis! Bulis! Bulis!
  8. I was thinking more along the lines of dysfunctional team chemistry. But yeah, there's a lot of worry to go with it too.
  9. What I would give to be a fly on the wall in the Canadiens dressing room. Not just tonight but for the last month.
  10. The Swiss Miss certainly has a talent for finding his way into the box.
  11. I have the sudden urge to light something on fire!!!!!!! I'll start with my Theo jersey.
  12. Maybe we should go oldschool and burn the Bell Centre to the ground. They might get the message then.... B)
  13. Thank you. I think my eyes are bleeding after reading that message.
  14. HUUUUUUGE GAME TONIGHT!!!! Need some momentum to carry into the remaining road trip. After watching last night's game at the Dome, there are certain players who need to pick up their game. I'm not sure what the highlights showed but we could have easily won the Flames game with a little more luck. We were held to something like 18 shots but there were a lot of scoring chances by the Habs. Koivu was soft and didn't show his playmaking ability, Ryder's defensive play was weak, Kovy was about 80%. It was the worst game I had seen from Higgins, he actually looked DISinterested, Ribs is stepping up his physical play but he still lacks the sheer weight to throw around. Bonk, no complaints - this guy is coming around. Bulis - usual strong effort. I think the most entertaining part was watching the Flames forwards go after Bouillon thinking they were going to run over him and then get smacked down FAST - the Flames fans were a little surprised by it too. Not a whole lot else to say but there's plenty of issues for BG to work.
  15. Habs will sign Koivu, I can't see it being any other way. He has leadership in the dressing room, and an excellent relationship with the public. On top of that, he can usually get us 50-60pts, and play steadily on the PP and PK. I would NOT sign him to a long-term contract though. One thing that scares me about him is the lymphoma. It could easily recur without a moment's notice and take him out again for a long time. I think Bob has been advised on this and I doubt we'll see a long-term contract.
  16. GO HABS GO!!! I have the privilege of watching this one live at the Dome. I have a feeling that I will be joined by a few thousand Habbers at least. I hope we bring in some muscle for this one because I think Phaneuf is going to try and run some of our smaller forwards. :hlogo: :hlogo: :hlogo: :hlogo: :hlogo:
  17. TSN's got some interesting quotes from people around the league on the Ovechkin goal. Look for it in their audio/video section. MacTavish's comments are the best..
